You know that moment when you’re asked a tough people question and the answer isn't as clear as you'd like it to be? The signal is there. It's just scattered across disconnected systems that were never built to tell a complete story. That's exactly what we're unpacking in our next live session. Join Lindsay Desai, Ed.D. from Alteryx and Todd Pernicek, PHR, SHRM-CP from Quantum Workplace for an honest conversation about why people data clarity is so hard to reach — and what changes when it isn't. LIVE SESSION: See What Disconnected Tools Can't: A New Approach to People Insights 📅 Thursday, May 7th | 10 a.m. CT 👇 Register now! 🔗 https://hubs.la/Q04dPdlZ0

The most valuable people insights are often hiding in plain sight. When your data is disconnected, it’s easy to miss the full story. But when engagement, performance, development, and recognition data are connected, you start to see what others don’t. Take Alex and Jordan. Two managers. On the surface, one looked to be performing well, and one didn’t. But connected data told a deeper story. ▶️ In this video, Phil Haussler, Chief Product Officer at Quantum Workplace, shares how to turn your people insights into clearer decisions and better outcomes with Insights Hub.

Last week, we brought together an incredible group of HR and business leaders in La Jolla for our 2026 Executive Advisory Board Summit. This group went deep on the questions that keep leaders up at night: → How do you lead with transparency when the future is uncertain? → What does it actually mean to be a future-ready leader — across generations and shifting expectations? → Where is the line between driving accountability and burning people out? → How is AI reshaping organizations today — and where does human judgment remain irreplaceable? What made the day remarkable was the openness and connections. Leaders who are navigating real complexity, sharing what's working, what isn't, and what they're still figuring out. To every leader who joined us: thank you. Your candor, your curiosity, and your willingness to think out loud directly shape how we show up for organizations and their people. We left La Jolla with more to think about than we arrived with. Too many leaders are operating in the dark. Critical talent signals are hard to surface when people data is scattered across disparate systems. When the full picture (and what to do about it) is nowhere in sight. Quantum Workplace lights the way for your leaders 💫 We connect key signals across engagement, performance, development, and recognition—giving your leaders the clarity and confidence they need to build thriving teams.

We love a customer who does SO much more than check the box ✅ "A common failure mode is treating succession planning as a seat-filling exercise: identify who could sit in each chair if the current occupant left. It feels thorough. It is not. The more valuable question is not 'who can do this job?' but 'what does success in this role actually require and how do we develop someone to those specific competencies?' Naming a successor without a development plan to close the gap is just putting a name on a spreadsheet."
Most organizations think they’re doing succession planning. They have a spreadsheet, a 9-box, and an annual review. A year later, a critical role opens and the panic begins. I wrote about what we changed at MacLean-Fogg and why it matters: ▶️ The real question isn’t “who can do this job?” It’s “what does success in this role require, and how do we develop someone to get there?” ▶️ If the same names show up on every succession plan, your pipeline is thin and you have a retention risk you’re not tracking. Quantum Workplace has been a key partner in making this work, helping us manage succession across all exempt roles and run calibration at the site and executive level. It turns succession planning from an annual event into a continuous process.
