RAISE Summit wrapped up, and Paris did not disappoint. Standing in the middle of an AI summit in this city — the architecture, the history, the sheer weight of the place — and talking about agents shipping real software felt like two worlds meeting. That contrast is exactly why this trip mattered. This is Qoder's European debut. But honestly, the debut is the smaller story. The bigger one is getting to sit inside the French and European AI ecosystem and actually listen to what they really want from Asian AI, just including Qoder, Qwen. A few things I'm taking home: Europe isn't behind on AI — it's asking a different set of questions. Less "which model is biggest," more "how does this hold up under real governance, real accountability." That's a conversation I want to be in. The founders and operators here think in decades, not quarters. Refreshing after a year of noise. And the appetite for tools that actually ship production software — not demos — is very real. This trip settled something for us: Europe isn't a one-off stop on the map. We're coming back, and soon. There's a real market to build here, and the right way to build it is in person, in the room, listening first. To everyone I met at RAISE — the founders, the builders, the people who grabbed twenty minutes between sessions — thank you. This was the start of something, not the end of a tour. Some of the best ideas never get built because the person with the idea "isn't technical enough." We want to change that. On 22 July in Singapore, Alibaba Cloud is teaming up with Qoder to host a hackathon built around Qoder, Alibaba Cloud's AI-native coding platform. Describe what you want to build, and Qoder's Spec-Driven Workflow and Quest Mode help turn it into working software! Or you can also explore Qoder with Expert Mode and CLI. One day to build. Two weeks after to refine. Mentors from the Qoder team are on-site throughout. The best part, we do have a total prize pool of 3K USD for the top winners! If you've had an idea sitting in your notes app, this is your excuse to finally build it. Register: https://luma.com/92h6pyl1 #Qoder #AlibabaCloud #Qwen #AIHackathon #Singapore

In the new episode, I'm breaking down why APAC that was supposed to follow is actually leading in AI adoption. Six months ago I wrote about why Asian AI products struggle in the West. That was about what's broken. Now, this is about what's working. AI adoption in APAC has already become an inevitable choice. From Hisense to Mitsubishi Elevator, Bosch — multinationals and local giants alike are running production workloads through Qoder agent platforms across logistics, fintech, recruitment, and ICT. The adoption vector is even flipping. APAC teams adopt first, produce visible gains, and headquarters asks for a briefing. One CTO called it "reverse shadow IT" — the good kind. APAC isn't waiting for the frontier to arrive. It's taking whatever's available and putting it to work. Is your organization ready for the reverse adoption shift? Drop your thoughts below. #Qoder #APAC #AsiaPacificAI #EnterpriseAI #AgenticAI

  • On July 2 in San Francisco, Qoder, AI Builders, and Corgi brought together CTOs, founders, and senior AI engineers for The Future of Agentic Engineering and AI Workforces. More than a meetup, it was a focused conversation on how agentic systems are reshaping software development and everyday work in production.

9 months. 15 events. 3 continents. I started putting this map together because Paris next week is the first time Qoder shows up in Europe. Felt like a natural line to draw before the next chapter starts. A few honest observations from the road: Singapore keeps being the place where East and West sit at the same table without either side lecturing the other. Some of the sharpest conversations of the year happened at Lorong AI ThursTalks and inside GovTech Singapore. Tokyo surprised me the most. The market has a reputation for being slow and cautious. What I actually found was a room full of people asking the hardest, most specific engineering questions I've heard anywhere. "Can we trust this in production?" I had a great talk with Takeshi Kurita from Alibaba Cloud Palo Alto and San Jose taught me about adoption speed. Developers there don't ask whether they should try something new. They ask what happened after they did. Of course, long lasting discussion with Grace S. is greatly beneficial to me. Next week, Paris on July 8-9 for RAISE Summit will feel different. I'm going in to listen, and try to understand what "agent adoption" actually looks like inside French, German, and Nordic teams. Swipe through the carousel for the full timeline. The map still has room for more pins. #Qoder #AgenticAI #AIAgents #GlobalGTM #RAISESummit #AlibabaCloud

  • 💡 From Overwhelmed HR to AI Squad Manager Drowning in endless recruiting logs and talent campaigns? One HR lead stopped sacrificing her weekends and used QoderWork to scale her delivery. She mapped her HR workflow into an autonomous squad: one agent auto-patrolling market intel, another instantly drafting copy, and a third ruthlessly auditing output quality. With one single command, this ecosystem autonomously crushed 203 HR operational tasks with a 92.1% completion rate. The best part? The agents started collaborating entirely on their own before she even logged in. Stop chatting with AI. Start architecting your workforce. 👇 Read our full newsletter for the exact 8-step prompt framework. #QoderWork #Qoder #AIWorkforce #HRTech #FutureOfWork

  • Christian Hu will head to Paris next week for RAISE Summit, 8–9 July, Carrousel du Louvre. It's the first time for Qoder showing up in Europe.

Heading to Paris next week for RAISE Summit, 8–9 July, Carrousel du Louvre. Small thing for me, kind of a big one for the team — it's the first time Qoder is showing up in Europe. I've spent most of this year on the ground in Tokyo, Singapore, and the Bay, mostly listening to teams talk about how they're trying to actually use AI agents inside their companies. Europe has been on my list the whole time but kept getting pushed. Finally happening. I'm not coming to pitch anything. Honestly I just want to talk to people about Agent adoption — the real stuff, not the keynote version. If you'll be around, hit me up. I'd love to talk to folks building vertical agents (legal, finance, HR, customer ops, healthcare) or anyone curious about what's happening in China / Asia AI right now — happy to share what I've been seeing. DM me. Coffee, walk, beer — whatever's faster. See you in Paris. #RAISESummit #Paris #AIAgents #AgentAdoption #Qoder #GoGlobal #ChinaAI

The infra side of AI is still booming. When AI agents will "take off? Here's what I actually think after six months of building one. From the outside it looks like agents are stuck. From the inside — building Qoder, talking to enterprise buyers every week — it feels different. The demand is there. Two million people signed up in six months. But there's a massive gap between "wow cool demo" and "I trust this thing to send emails on my behalf." That gap isn't about capability anymore. Models are good enough. It's about trust, habit, and the pain of rewiring integrations. Here's why I think the second half of 2026 is when it flips: Reliability is crossing the threshold. Six months ago, 90% accuracy meant users never let go of the steering wheel. Now we're hitting the point where guardrails, human-in-the-loop design, and better orchestration are pushing that number toward something people can actually rely on. The improvements are compounding fast. Enterprise buying is shifting. I'm seeing it firsthand — conversations moving from "innovation pilot budget" into "we want to replace the old workflow" territory. Not everywhere, but enough to feel directional. The case studies are landing. The ROI math is getting clearer. Ecosystem integration is thickening. MCP, native connectors, cross-tool orchestration — a year ago an agent could touch one app. Now it's reaching across email, CRM, docs, calendar, and approval systems in a single turn. That's the unlock. An agent that can only do one thing is a toy. An agent wired into your whole stack starts feeling like a teammate. My honest take: in near future, maybe 2 or 3 months, we'll see the first wave of agent products with real retention, revenue that makes the market go "oh wait, this is working." The quiet part is ending. The noisy part is about to begin. Right now, the people building agents are doing the hardest, least glamorous work: laying foundations, wiring integrations, earning trust one workflow at a time. But the payoff window is a lot closer than most people think. Infra made the money this year. Applications will make it next. #AI #AIAgents #EnterpriseAI #AgentAdoption #Qoder #QoderWork #Workflow #Automation
