Pherson specializes in consulting and providing training to analysts involved in basic analytic tradecraft, counterterrorism, homeland security, law enforcement, and counterintelligence. Pherson Associates teaches and guides analysts in the effective application of strategies, tools, and techniques to make sense of the present and anticipate the future. Our services include workshops, courses, and consulting over a full range of analytic activities, including building models, frameworks, and processes; collecting and arraying critical data; developing and applying analytic tools and techniques; honing writing and briefing skills; publishing books and pamphlets; and maximizing the analytic power of the individual, the group, and the organization. Our cadre of experts includes recently retired senior managers and analysts from the Central Intelligence Agency, Department of State, Defense Intelligence Agency, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the private sector committed to developing clear-thinking analysts who will help our nation foresee and prepare to meet new threats and challenges.
