Meet one of our panelists for Power Brokers of the Patch: Mike McGraw of MMP Consulting, LLC! Mike McGraw began his career in the oil and gas industry in 2008, building a strong technical foundation in East Texas before expanding into snubbing operations and drilling fluids management. In 2012, he completed formal mud school training and has since led drilling fluids, solids control, and project management efforts across complex drilling and completions operations. As the founder of MMP Consulting, Mike scaled the firm from a single-person startup into a multi-discipline organization supporting 80–95 field personnel daily and overseeing 6–8 active project management engagements at any given time. His leadership is defined by operational discipline, accountability, and a deep understanding of field-level execution. Mike has spent the majority of his career in the Permian Basin, where he has developed long-standing relationships and a strong appreciation for the region’s entrepreneurial culture and operational intensity. Today, Mike owns and operates three companies, providing integrated services and leadership across the oil and gas value chain. He resides in West Texas with his wife and two sons, where family and sports play a central role outside of work. Tyler Roane serves as the West Texas Operations Manager for AI Driller, a role he stepped into in October 2025. He brings over five years of multi-disciplinary experience in Permian unconventional asset development, with a petrotechnical background spanning drilling, completions, production, and reservoir engineering. Prior to joining AI Driller, Tyler held multiple technical and leadership roles at Concho Resources/ConocoPhillips, including tenures as a Senior Drilling Engineer and on-site Drilling Supervisor.
