Employers empowered with price transparency is one piece of the puzzle. Great recap of the National Alliance of Healthcare Purchaser Coalitions Summit from Andrew S. Gordon, LSW.
Last week I attended the National Alliance of Healthcare Purchaser Coalitions annual Healthcare Policy Summit at Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy. The conversations covered a lot of ground, from ERISA fiduciary enforcement and PBM transparency to hospital pricing, 340B program reform, and what employers are doing differently. Several stats, anecdotes, and stories were genuinely striking. Here is a detailed recap along with questions that remained unanswered.
