Parambil now integrates with CMS nursing home data. By pulling data directly from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services database, Parambil surfaces facility-level inspection history, deficiency citations, and staffing metrics the moment you open a case. Once linked, this data becomes live context for your entire case strategy — allowing you to identify patterns, flag repeat violations, and build your narrative without ever leaving the platform. No more cross-referencing government databases or manually pulling facility reports. Just the intelligence you need, exactly when you need it. 💡 #nursinghome #elderabuse #ai #legaltech

"Something that surprised me upon joining was just how much the engineering team cares about the customers and their needs. It feels very unique." Well, so is my co-founder, who's built our engineering culture from the ground up. Liam Gordon spends his days talking to customers, managing his fleet of coding agents, and shaping the engineering team's outputs. He pulls Parambil's product forward *every single day*. 💪

  • Now available in Parambil: Claude Opus 4.7. We evaluate every model against the hardest thing our customers do: reading thousands of pages of medical records and finding the detail that changes a case. 4.7 is a real step up on that work. Stronger long-context reasoning. Better instruction following. Self-verification before output is returned. Our agents (Case Agent, Quill, Research Agent, Vault) are already upgraded. Firms will notice it first in Drafting 2.0 and Record Organizer. Live across the platform today.

The name "Bates Stamp" goes back to the 1800s. The Bates Manufacturing Company made a hand-held numbering machine that auto-incremented with each press. It became the standard for sequentially numbering legal documents. The physical stamp is long gone but the name stuck. The workflow, on the other hand, hasn't changed much since. Most firms are still exporting records to Adobe, stamping them, and re-uploading. It's tedious and error-prone. When you receive the same complaint from dozens of law firms, you build a solution. Introducing Bates Stamps in Parambil. Stamps are auto-detected or applied directly inside our files Vault, where your records already live. No exporting, no re-uploading, and no broken references when new files come in. Our system even allows you to toggle between citation types as you move from intake through discovery. Built to help you win. Available now. ⭐

Looking forward to being at the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association event this Friday! Sal Ienna will also be speaking on how AI is starting to impact malpractice and catastrophic injury cases, specifically around one of the biggest hurdles: medical record review. As cases get more complex, teams spend more time organizing records and building chronologies. This is what we’ve been focused on solving at Parambil. If you’ll be at the CTLA Annual Meeting, would love to connect! Find us @ Parambil

A competitor recently published a comparison claiming Parambil only does medical chronologies. That was true two and a half years ago. So we turned the camera on and let the team talk. Three myths we keep hearing from firms evaluating AI tools right now. ❌Myth 1: Parambil is a medical chronology tool. That's how a lot of firms find us. But chronologies are one feature inside a full case platform. Record organization, research, drafting, deposition prep, case strategy. All connected. You don't switch between five tools. You just work. ❌Myth 2: All legal AI tools for personal injury are basically the same. We were the first to build dedicated modules for medical malpractice, nursing home abuse, and birth injury litigation. Not generic templates you adapt. Tools designed for how those cases actually work. The complexity of a MedMal case looks nothing like a fender bender. Our platform knows that. ❌Myth 3: You can't draft with Parambil. You can. And it's really good. Hundreds of law firms use Parambil today across the full lifecycle of a case. Not for one feature. For the whole thing. If you're evaluating tools and getting conflicting information, happy to show you what we actually do. No pitch deck. Just the product. Parambil Mai Hipsley Sal Ienna Jordy Portugal

One of the biggest mistakes we made early at Parambil: confusing our own confidence in the output with our customers' trust in it. In the early days, our QC team was myself, Liam, and Dr. Ralph Horwitz — former Chair of Medicine at Yale and Stanford. We'd stay up until 3 or 4am in a tiny room in Flatiron, going through every single data point the AI produced. Checking it. Tweaking the model. Making sure it was perfect before anyone saw it. Because we were seeing every output word for word, we understood the power of what we'd built. But our customers didn't. We'd never given them the chance. In trying to deliver perfection, we'd accidentally made ourselves the gatekeepers of our own product. The real job was designing the product so attorneys could trust what they were seeing themselves. Click-through citations to source documents. Data quality flags instead of smoothed-over outputs. The AI's reasoning visible, not just its conclusions. Our perfectionism was a UX failure in disguise. You have to design for BOTH accuracy and trust — you can't ignore one or the other. But accuracy without trust just means you're the only one who knows the product works! Parambil has come a long way.
