EV adoption is steadily becoming part of the mainstream, changing how people think about mobility and what they expect from workplaces, commercial buildings, and fleets. Demand for access to charging, both for customers and fleets is growing, and will continue be an important consideration for developers and customers. At Orange & Rockland, programs like PowerReady, along with other commercial EV initiatives, are designed to support this demand by helping build the infrastructure that makes charging possible. These programs can offset a significant portion of electric infrastructure costs—up to 90%—including customer‑side work such as panel upgrades and transformers. Projects accepted into the PowerReady application pool, which is currently open through April 22nd, may continue to receive incentives even after the application window closes. Beyond funding, these programs also provide planning and technical resources to help businesses navigate construction and eligibility. Together, they’re contributing to the steady expansion of public and customer‑owned charging stations across the service area, helping ensure infrastructure keeps pace with adoption. From early travel to meetings on Capitol Hill, the planning and pace of LIHEAP Action Day was nonstop. But the mission was simple; speak up for the program helping our friends and neighbors keep their homes warm in the winter and cool in the summer. LIHEAP helps families manage energy costs and is a critical resource for many of our customers. This advocacy day gave us the chance to share their stories and call for continued congressional support. Check your eligibility for our Financial Assistance Programs here: http://spr.ly/6043B6DCJW

PUF sat down with our President, along with other women energy leaders, to discuss leading through a period of rising demand, major infrastructure investment, and increasing expectations on utilities. Drawing on her experience across the company, Michele reflects on authentic, collaborative leadership and how balancing affordability, reliability, and resilience guides decision-making in a rapidly evolving energy landscape. "For me, authentic leadership has always been foundational. It reflects who you are, what you believe in, and the kind of organization you are trying to build."
I’m honored to be featured in the latest issue of Public Utilities Fortnightly, highlighting 13 women shaping the future of energy. Grateful for the conversation and the work we are all doing to move this industry forward! https://lnkd.in/eQjqdGaH

Great to see our VP of operations, Won Choe, at the NJIT Future Energy Transmission Conference, joining New Jersey energy leaders to talk about what’s next for clean, reliable, and affordable energy. We’re committed to advancing solutions that keep energy sustainable and accessible for the communities we serve.
Excited to share highlights from the NJIT Future Energy Transmission Conference, where I joined fellow New Jersey energy leaders to discuss how we’re shaping the state’s clean energy future. At Rockland Electric Company, we are focused on four key areas: Reliability – Building a stronger, more resilient energy delivery system powered by clean, renewable sources. Since Superstorm Sandy, we’ve made significant investments to harden our system against severe weather. Looking ahead, we plan to invest $750 million over the next decade in clean and resilient energy solutions to meet New Jersey’s growing demand. Innovation – Deploying cutting-edge technologies like smart grid automation, battery storage for increased capacity and backup, and drone operations to reduce costs and accelerate outage response. Community & Workforce – Addressing energy affordability while creating pathways for the skilled workforce needed to drive this energy future. Customer Tools & Information – Empowering customers with solutions to manage energy use, lower costs, and better understand our programs and customer tools. Our 2026 Investment Plan will allow us to continue advancing these pillars and reimagine the future of energy in both New Jersey and New York. We’re proud to deliver innovations that strike the right balance between clean energy, reliability, and affordability

Food assistance is always needed, and even more so during the holidays. We teamed up with People to People, one of our grant recipients for hunger relief efforts, and the Multicultural Advisory Committee to collect donations for Rockland families who could use extra support this season. Together, we donated more than 1,300 cans of non-perishable food and nearly 2,000 total items, including baby supplies, toiletries, paper goods, and more.
