⚙️ 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 is becoming a foundational capability for 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗽𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗱. The industry’s future performance will be shaped not by how quickly it builds new capacity, but by how intelligently it operates the assets that are already in the water. Europe, as one of the earliest adopters, is now dealing with the consequences of aging assets, rising costs and supply-chain pressures. Meanwhile, Asia continues to expand rapidly and can implement modern maintenance strategies from the outset. 🌏 In our latest article, Edgare Kerkwijk and Floris van den Broek offer a detailed view of how the market is changing and why data will become the defining asset for offshore wind operators worldwide ➡️ https://lnkd.in/eictXkAA #offshorewind #windenergy #energy

🌍 This 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗮𝘆, we’re proud to share that ORTEC’s near-term and net-zero science-based targets have been officially validated by the 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 (SBTi). Our science-based targets are aligned with the latest climate science and support the global ambition to limit warming to 1.5°C 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: 🔹 Reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions 42.1% by 2030 (from a 2023 base year) 🔹 Reduce Scope 3 emissions 25% by 2030 (same base year) 🔹 Reduce Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions by 90% and reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across the value chain by 2050 Puiyi Chan, Director Strategic Programs & Sustainability at ORTEC: “We see this as an important milestone, not an endpoint. What matters now is continuing to translate this into practical action and measurable progress over time.” #SBTi #Sustainability #ScienceBasedTargets #EarthDay

We’re thrilled to have been part of the Optilogic Supply Chain Summit in Amsterdam! A fantastic event filled with great conversations, fresh perspectives and inspiring talks on the future of supply chain planning. Our own Sander Vlot, VP AI & Decision Intelligence at ORTEC Data Science & Consulting, took the stage to host a session on one of the biggest challenges in supply chain today: closing the gap between design and execution. Network design, S&OP, inventory planning, logistics execution: these processes don’t exist in isolation. They’re deeply connected, and the success of one depends on the others. Yet in practice, they’re often planned separately, leading to decisions that look optimal in one silo but fall short across the chain. 𝗦𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁? In his session, Sander explored how Decision Intelligence goes beyond what traditional ERP and APS systems offer, how ORTEC and Optilogic are joining forces to deliver that next level of planning capability, and what role AI really plays in making this work at enterprise scale. Not just the promise, but the practical considerations that matter when you’re automating real supply chain decisions. The vision we’re working toward: a world where supply chain design and execution are connected in a continuous loop, powered by Machine Learning, Mathematical Optimization and Agentic AI working together. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝘂𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴. Curious? Where does the value in your supply chain really come from - and where might it be quietly lost? In our latest interview, Szabolcs Balazs, SVP Retail and Wholesale Europe at ORTEC shares why value in modern supply chains is no longer defined by cost savings alone. Today, value is increasingly shaped by: ✔ Reliable and predictable operations ✔ Better experiences for customers and employees ✔ Continuous improvement instead of one-off transformations ✔ Real-time KPI transparency and cost insight ✔ Faster decision-making powered by AI Many organizations are very good at identifying value and building strong business cases. The real challenge, however, is turning KPI improvements into measurable financial impact - and sustaining that impact over time. “Value erosion is invisible. It happens slowly, quietly, inside daily decisions.” Read the full interview to discover how leading organizations protect and grow supply chain value: https://lnkd.in/eADWTmmd
