Last week’s Rad Workday was a great reminder of why we do this. We brought together founders and operators to talk about something moving fast for all of us right now: AI adoption — and what it actually takes to do it well. Huge thank you to Suzame Tong (Level Seven) and Carrie Hefner, MBA (Breakaway Advising) for leading such a practical and engaging conversation. From “prompt debt” to real budgeting frameworks, this was the kind of insight teams can actually use. And thank you to our partner, Amina Moreau and Radious for providing a unique and intentional space to hold this event. At Techworks, we’re here to create space for the conversations founders need to be having — this was one of them. We can't wait to keep the conversation going at future Rad Workdays. #AIAdoption #OregonTech #TechEvents #AI

We're very excited for this next Rad Workday! We're expecting great discussion, friendly faces, and yummy pastries. DM us to join in on the fun!
TIL that AI solutions shouldn't be treated like traditional software spend. Apparently, there are lots of budgetary (and opportunity) risks if you do. I was talking to Justin C. whose company, LearnAIR, trains teams on strategic #AI adoption and Carrie Hefner, MBA, who's a fractional #CFO and controller with Breakaway Advising. They were telling me about the hidden costs leaders like me often underestimate... and how we need to be thinking differently about AI's return on investment. It was so eye opening! So, we called Tara Dahl from Oregon Techworks Association and decided... 💡 Let's host a discussion about it at our next #RadWorkday! Sooo... We're doing it: Morning of March 12th, 2026. You should join us if you: ❧ Work in tech and have an interest in AI ❧ Want to shape an equitable AI future ❧ Are interested in finance strategy ❧ Want to meet like-minded folks ❧ Love pastries like me (yep, we'll have tons of carbs!) If you're interested in joining, either comment below or DM me (include a line about why this interests you and/or what you'd contribute to the convo). And I'll send you registration details. ✏️

AI isn’t just about automation or efficiency — it’s about people. Our partner, LearnAIR took a trip to India recently, and they saw something powerful: organizations, leaders, and learners treating AI not as a gadget but as a pathway to human empowerment. From executives to students, the hunger for AI fluency was real — and it highlighted five lessons that every organization should take to heart as we usher humanity into the AI era. In our latest partner blog article, LearnAIR explores: • Why AI literacy is now essential, not optional • How context matters more than tools • Why confidence beats complexity • What it looks like to keep humans at the center of AI • How scalable systems — not AI heroes — create impact If you’re thinking about how your team adopts AI in 2026 and beyond, this perspective may shift your thinking too.
