What does it actually take to go from AI-generated code to a product people trust? 🤔 It's something we think about a lot. Next week, Gabriel Lopez Rodriguez, our CEO, is heading to Boston to talk through it at an event we're organizing with Startup Boston 🧡 A session for founders and builders working with AI who want less hype and more clarity on how to actually ship. 📍 Workbar, Downtown Crossing 🗓 May 6 ⏰ 5:30 pm If you're around, come by 👉 https://luma.com/fzfjzetn

About us
OrangeLoops is a digital product agency focused on helping companies build, go to market, and evolve digital products, as well as undergo digital transformation processes. Founded by a team of seasoned developers with over 20 years of experience, we are passionate about product development and servicing our clients the way we would like to be serviced, building transparent and long-term relationships. We envision ourselves as strategic partners for organizations in the Greater Boston area that are committed to building and launching impactful digital products. Our capacities range from front end and backend development, UI & UX Design, manual testing and test automation. We engage with clients in different formats, such as: - Project execution: a team involving different profiles and roles owns the execution of a specified scope. It can be a complete app, a feature or a backoffice module. We own development and delivery. - Staff Augmentation: We provide specific profiles to augment your team's capacities in an elastic manner. - Product Discovery processes: For scenarios where you have a vision of what to build but more clarity is needed. We engage in a four to eight weeks consultancy to gather requirements and design a specification that fits your vision and can be used as blueprint for any team to build it.

Last Thursday, we took part in #TechyxElDia, an initiative by Cuti - Chamber of Uruguayan IT Companies, to celebrate the International Girls in ICT Day, one more occasion to inspire girls to consider a future in tech 👩💻 We welcomed a group of students from UTU Solymar to our office. They got to know our world through our team, learning firsthand what working in tech actually looks like. Thank you, Javiera, Silvia, Lucía and Shakira for making it happen ✨ Our People team also ran a session on the current tech job market in Uruguay and what to keep in mind when preparing for an interview, and opened it up for questions at the end. We closed with a tour of our office and a snack break together 🍪 Initiatives like this one are a good reminder of how much it matters to show young women what the tech industry actually looks like and what's possible in it. We hope to cross paths again someday, maybe already working in the industry! 🙌 Thank you to everyone who was part of this 🧡

AI can write code fast, but turning that code into a product customers actually trust is the real challenge. On May 6, Startup Boston is teaming up with Gabriel Lopez Rodriguez and OrangeLoops for a tactical session built for founders and builders figuring out how to ship with AI...without creating chaos in the process. Hosted at Workbar in Downtown Crossing, we’re digging into how AI-native teams are actually operating behind the scenes: - The changes in paradigm we are going through in product development - What agent-driven development looks like in practice, and how to structure workflows around it - How leading teams use evals, gates to harness quality and control - Where teams are actually seeing speed gains—and where things tend to break This session is for founders who want speed and structure. Builders who are tired of hype and want practical systems they can apply immediately. 🎟️ Register now: https://luma.com/fzfjzetn

Today, Silvia De León from our team joined Senpai Academy to close out the AI for Business workshops organized by Piso 40. We dove into how business leaders can use Claude as a real work partner, not just another tech tool. The room was full of sharp questions and real conversations about what AI can actually do for a business 💻 🤖 Thanks to everyone who joined and made it such an engaging session 🧡

Something shifted in software development 👀 Not gradually. We've been investing in AI for two years. The changes over the last few months still felt sudden. Gabriel Lopez Rodriguez, our CEO, wrote about what we're seeing: what works, where it starts to break, and what it means for how teams build software. Full post in the first comment 👇

And that's a wrap on my first SXSW — and definitely not my last. 🧡 Having been to a fair share of major tech and innovation conferences — MWC, Bits & Pretzels, #SMARTSummit — I can say with confidence: #SXSW is simply on another level. Not just for the sheer scale of it, but for the genuine, collaborative, down-to-earth energy I encountered every step of the way. A huge thank you to the organizers (I genuinely cannot fathom what it takes to pull this together) and to every bright, generous person I had the chance to meet this week. A special shout-out to Capital Factory — one of the most welcoming and impressive organizations I've come across. The startup crawl was a genuine highlight. Not gonna lie: I'm absolutely destroyed. I'll be heading home to lie in a dark room for a while. But once I resurface into the Uruguayan summer sun, I'll be setting my "return to Austin" timer — and watching it very closely. One thing's for sure: OrangeLoops and Austin? Watch this space. 🍊 See you soon, Austin. Keep it weird. 🤘

Last Friday and Saturday I attended the MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference for the first time. It was a good opportunity to get a closer look at a space I’ve been following with interest for some time, partly driven by our work and investment around DrillRoom and the broader intersection of sports, computer vision, and data. A few themes stood out across the talks. AI was pervasive across the conversation — not surprising, but notable in how deeply it’s becoming embedded across sports workflows, from performance analysis to fan engagement and media. I was also struck by how much prediction markets have evolved in recent years. I hadn’t fully appreciated the scale that platforms like Polymarket have reached and the role they may play in information aggregation around sports and beyond. Overall, it was a valuable couple of days of learning and conversations. We’re continuing to build our understanding and capabilities in this space as sports, analytics, and AI increasingly converge. #SSAC26 #SportsAnalytics
