Your nonprofit's most powerful storytelling tool is probably at your fingertips. But knowing you *should* be doing video and actually having a strategy that you can execute are two different things. Join us this Thursday, May 7, for a free live webinar with Matt Pearl, a former TV news reporter and videographer turned nonprofit storytelling strategist. He'll show you how to build a smart, sustainable video approach your organization can actually afford and execute. Whether you're starting from scratch or trying to be more intentional with what you're already doing, this one is worth an hour of your time. 𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄: https://lnkd.in/eMDhJGYF

Good governance has always required courage. But in 2026, it requires something more. Our CEO, Charles D. Imbergamo, CFRE, shares four trends shaping the most effective nonprofit boards right now based on what we're seeing across hundreds of nonprofits we regularly work with. Link in comments to see all the insights. TL;DR: Are you governing to preserve what exists or to steward what’s needed next?

Do you know how much your volunteers are really worth? Today, the Independent Sector and the Do Good Institute at University of Maryland announced that the latest value of a volunteer hour is $36.14. This is a 3.9% increase from the previous year. Here in Florida, that amount is slightly lower at $34.88. Understanding this number helps you budget smarter, communicate impact more powerfully, and build the internal case for investing in your volunteer program.
