    Do you know about the dark side of AI? Marketers are currently racing to automate content production, feeding AI-generated output directly into strategy engines and publishing it at scale. But there is a hidden, dangerous irony in this loop: as we flood the internet with AI-generated content, the very models we rely on are crawling, ingesting, and training on their own byproducts. By creating a closed-loop system in which AI learns from its own low-quality feedback, we risk catastrophic degradation of intelligence and logic, much like the biological crisis of mad cow disease.     We tested 300 prompts to see how brand mentions impact search results. Here is what we found. 📈 In his latest experiment, Dr. Pete Meyers discovered that brand presence in search results is more like a volume knob than an on/off switch. The data shows that: - Seeding a brand in a prompt drives an average of 14.5 mentions in the response. - True non-brand prompts still return brand mentions 53% of the time. As search moves further into natural language, the distinction between branded and non-branded keywords is no longer a simple binary.
