  • NEW: Webhooks are now live in Ordinal

𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻, 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺. We've shipped an API, MCP server, exports, and now we're adding the last major piece: real-time webhooks for all Ordinal customers. 20 event types across posts, profiles, approvals, comments, and invites. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱: → Pipe post performance data into your internal analytics warehouse the moment content goes live → Auto-create Linear tickets based on changes in a post's status → Sync approval workflows with your company's existing compliance tooling → Trigger onboarding sequences in your own systems when new teammates accept invites → Feed campaign activity into custom executive dashboards Subscribe to exactly the events you care about. Pass custom headers for auth. Track every delivery. Our philosophy: your social data shouldn't be trapped in another SaaS silo. Webhooks are the latest piece, but it's part of a bigger bet that the best platforms are the ones you can build on top of. Live today for all customers.

𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱𝗜𝗻 𝗽𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗯𝘆 𝟱𝟬% 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸𝘀. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝟯 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳. We analyzed ~1M data points from Ordinal and the results are clear: posts without links consistently crush posts with links. Posts without links averaged ~50% more impressions than posts with links. And it's getting worse: In 2023, the gap was ~19 index points*. In 2024, it grew to ~35 points. In 2025, it nearly tripled to ~52 points. In 87% of weeks over the past 3 years, no-link posts outperformed link posts in reach. LinkedIn's algorithm is increasingly penalizing outbound links to keep people on the platform. Despite claims that the algorithm has shifted to no longer penalize links, the data shows the penalty is actually accelerating. So what should you do? - Put your link in the first comment, not the post body (use Ordinal to automate this!) - Write the post to be valuable on its own, then reference the link in comments - Use "link in comments" as a CTA if you need to drive traffic * 𝘌𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘬, 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘵 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘸𝘰 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘱𝘴 - 𝘪𝘧 𝘣𝘰𝘵𝘩 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘦𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘭 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺'𝘥 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘴𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝟭𝟬𝟬. • DualEntry raised $90M to build the modern, AI-native ERP and came out of stealth in October. Within a week of evaluating social tools, they'd already ditched Buffer and switched to Ordinal. As a team working in a regulated industry, social content wasn't just about vibes. They needed a tool to manage: → Multi-level approval workflows across finance, legal, and partnerships → 15+ person employee advocacy program → 5 channels managed from one dashboard → Native video posting with SRT captions "The product is far superior to anyone else in the market - the clean UI, the ease of scheduling, the ease of collaboration between different people working on the same post, and the approval process - that's what sets Ordinal apart." - Bruno B. • A new chapter starting today. Read more about our new brand and website here: https://lnkd.in/g-J-BU95

Assembly is now Ordinal. We started Assembly because we believed that legacy social media management tools were built for a world that no longer exists. Ten years ago, social was dominated by Instagram grids and Facebook pages. Social media was purely a brand marketing channel. 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁. LinkedIn and Twitter/X are where business actually happens now. Channels dominated by video and text posts also necessitate different design assumptions. And most importantly - social isn't about brand awareness anymore. 𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲. Our customers showed us the future of social. They're closing deals, driving revenue, building their entire go-to-market motion on these platforms. Something fundamental had shifted - social had become a real acquisition channel for companies. Our rebrand to Ordinal represents our commitment to this new reality - where social strategy is business strategy, where every post has purpose, where chaos becomes system. Now let's build what's next. 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹. 🚀
