I’m excited to host a hands-on workshop on collaborative #WardleyMapping at the Intro Day of ComoCamp in Vienna tomorrow! Mapping collaboratively is quite different from doing it alone. Together, we challenge assumptions and discover key insights much faster, thanks to instant peer feedback. More importantly, collaborative mapping helps us build a shared understanding of our strategic landscape, uncovering crucial capabilities that might otherwise remain hidden in individual mental models. Creating this common ground is one of the many benefits of mapping in a group using Wardley Mapping. In this workshop, I’ll give a concise introduction to the concept of evolution—the essential foundation to start mapping. We’ll explore deeper into Wardley Mapping based on your interests and needs. Given the richness of Wardley Mapping, our emphasis will remain pragmatic and actionable rather than overly method-focused. I’ll bring a simplified real-world example for us to map collaboratively in teams. This workshop welcomes participants of all experience levels: If you’re new to Wardley Mapping or haven’t had a chance to try it, this is your perfect entry point. Experienced practitioners can sharpen their skills, gain valuable peer feedback, and experience the dynamics of group mapping. Those interested in introducing Wardley Mapping to their organizations will receive practical guidance on facilitating and running successful mapping sessions internally. For those of you who already secured a spot—get ready to experience how powerful collaborative strategic working can be. I look forward to mapping with you! Beyond my workshop, I’m excited to participate myself in sessions led by so many amazing and inspiring people, and I’m looking forward to meeting old friends again! Alberto Brandolini, Michael Plöd, Kenny Baas-Schwegler, Susanne Kaiser, Dr. Annegret Junker, Carola Lilienthal, Stefan Toth, Henning Schwentner, Marco Heimeshoff, Xin Yao and so many others!
