Took some much needed time off after a hard-charging 2025, as I hope you did as well. With some time and space, I got to thinking about this whirlwind of a year and what I hope/anticipate for 2026. - Omnichannel for real. AI will take on the unglamorous plumbing so marketers can connect campaigns on every screen. - Video is video. Consumers don’t see distinctions, and the industry will catch up in how we engage with them. - Data collaboration speeds up. Safe cooperation will increase between the likeliest and unlikeliest of brands, to consumers’ benefit. - Everyone rallies for football. The World Cup will be one of the largest marketing touchstones of the 2000s and with plenty of room for all kinds of brands.
