Proposal professionals (just like CEOs) often operate in a role that few people around them fully understand. 😮💨 Maybe no one above them has held the seat. Or there's no internal sounding board for when a pursuit strategy isn't landing, or when you're trying to build the case for more resources. Our CEO, Zak Hemraj, was recently featured in the Forbes CEO newsletter talking about mentorship and what's actually made building Loopio possible. His framework for finding the right support isn't just specific to being a CEO—it can be applied to anyone looking for community at any point in their career. Who knew that command C + command V could give proposal pros such a jumpscare? 😱 For too long, portal-based RFPs have pulled proposal teams away from the work that actually moves the needle. Manually inputting questions, organizing responses, filling answers back in one field at a time—it adds up to hours that your team should be spending on strategy, quality, and staying ahead of the competition. That changes now. Loopio offers the most comprehensive portal solution on the market—so you can get back to what matters most: crafting quality bids. Watch to learn more. 👇

Most proposal teams would tell you—participating in blind bids is NOT the way to win more. 👀 But increasing your bid volume, especially in a tough economy, is not always a bad thing. If you can source the right opportunities proactively and respond to those, you may be able to shift your presence in the market for the year ahead. If you want to find more winnable business this year without burning out your team on low-intent bids, you need a strategic discovery engine. How is your team surfacing new opportunities this year? Are you sticking to invited bids, or exploring new portals? Sound off in the comments. 📣

This week I’m celebrating 5 years at Loopio! It’s been such a rewarding experience and I couldn't have imagined it unfolding the way it has. I joined in a role that didn’t yet exist; the path to success was unclear and imposter syndrome was very present. Since then, I've the opportunity to build two roles from 0 → 1: a brand new function in Customer Experience (Adoption Services) and a new function in Product (Product Ops). Over the years, as I've tackled problems of varying complexity, I kept saying yes to things I wasn’t fully sure I was ready for. What was once anxiety about not having the answers gradually grew into confidence in my ability to figure things out. That muscle of leaning into the unknown became a positive feedback loop, and today I've grown into someone others turn to for guidance. Beyond that, I’ve built relationships in every department across varying levels that have made the journey enjoyable. People I can rely on, and who know they can rely on me. Through years of zoom calls, problem-solving, long discussions, mutual support, jokes, gifs, and memes. These 5 years have shown me that if you step into the unknown with a willingness to reveal your questions - and to lean on the people around you - you can shape your own path, even if it’s not obvious where it will lead. And sometimes it turns out better than imagined. I have immense gratitude for the growth, the trust, and the people. Thank you to my fearless leaders Onnela (originally) and Gord for creating the safety to be curious and for the guidance that's shaped my growth. And to all of my partners in corporate Bonnie Mike Jaimik Manish Yuriy Emily Shawn Michael Joey Steve Kiera Michael Britney Miles Ross Darlene Sarah for being thought partners, mentors, and cheerleaders - I’m incredibly grateful to have grown alongside you.

This made my day, a little back-to-school kit from Loopio celebrating my completion of their RFP Academy course, Mastering Change Management in the Age of AI. I was among the first 100 people to complete it, which was timely given how much of my work right now lives at the intersection of AI, proposal strategy, and organizational change. Thank you, Loopio, for the swag and the recognition. #RFPAcademy #ProposalManagement #AI #ChangeManagement

Mastery should be a core value at more companies. Mastery represents the continual learning and growth of every individual, encouraging collective development and enabling everyone to level up. On our Mid-Market Customer Success team, our CSMs lead us through a new quarterly meeting segment, wisely named "Mastery in the wild". Every member on our team has a unique story and drastically different experiences that shape our interactions. Harnessing our individuality while learning how we handle various situations helps us gain new perspectives and feel confident to try something new. Pair this with our continual learning, through books, courses, certifications, and podcasts, and you've got a team flexing their mastery excellence day in and day out. This month, Mohammed Hamza, CAPM, CCSM & Michelle Quon took to the virtual stage to speak to "Field Plays that Work" and "From Reactive, to Revenue." These were high-impact conversations that noticeably drove engagement, excitement, and new ways to level up our team's collective skill sets. It's rewarding to see our incredible team knowledge share and lift each other up through another core value at Loopio: Support. 💛
