Anthropic has just opened several previously paid features to all users of the free Claude web app, including Connectors, which means the Knowledge Graph Claude Connector is now available to everyone at no cost. With Knowledge Graph, teachers, school leaders, and program teams can use Claude to: 🔹Get accurate information about specific standards and break standards down into smaller learning components 🔹Identify learning progressions in mathematics to understand which skills students should master before tackling new concepts 🔹Design lesson plans, assessments, or practice activities aligned to standards This is a meaningful step toward making high‑quality AI tools more accessible in education, and we’re excited to see how educators put it to use. #AIinEducation #EdTech #Anthropic #ClaudeConnector #FutureOfLearning #EducationInnovation

🌱What does it take to drive lasting change in school districts? Education leaders at AASA, The School Superintendents Association’s National Conference on Education explored how to use seed funding and technical assistance to implement evidence-driven practices at scale. We are proud to have supported Anaheim Union High School Dst, Rochester Public Schools ISD #535, and Cajon Valley Union School District in advancing systems to improve student outcomes. Initial signals indicate that our partners made meaningful progress toward their goals, and projects are on track to continue and thrive. 🎯So how did they do it — and what lessons can we learn? 1. AI tools can be transformative, but impact comes with goal clarity, measurement systems, leadership alignment, and infrastructure. 2. One-time funding catalyzes durable change only when systems are built alongside tools.  3. ✨ We’re thrilled to share a look inside our recent Foundational Literacy Convening! Literacy experts from the research, practice, and edtech communities came together for a focused working session to discuss how we can work together to improve early literacy. Three key takeaways: ✅We’re still facing a fragmented pipeline between research, curriculum, assessment, and classroom practice. ✅Educators need more accessible, embedded support, especially early-career teachers. ✅AI holds real promise to help, particularly if leveraged to provide more targeted, differentiated instruction opportunities, and only when grounded in evidence, education standards, and trusted evaluation frameworks. These insights are directly informing our work on Knowledge Graph and Evaluators, the public AI infrastructure we’re building to reduce fragmentation and strengthen coherence across the education ecosystem. 🚀 Launching: Updates to Knowledge Graph We’re excited to announce enhancements to  Knowledge Graph, an open resource that integrates trusted instructional content, academic standards, and research directly into AI-powered tools — improving precision, relevance, and instructional alignment. 📍 What’s new: Alignment between math learning components and academic standards for seven additional states: Florida, Idaho, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Ohio, South Dakota, and Utah. 🚀 Co-building with educators! Over the past two weeks, our colleagues Asha Canady and Rebecca Garza-Bortman led two hands‑on workshops alongside our partners at LEAP Innovations with nearly 100 educators from 20 Chicago schools. Together, they worked through what it really takes to translate school priorities into meaningful ways that AI can support teaching and learning. We are grateful to everyone who contributed their ideas and perspectives. Listening to educators and co-building tools to address real classroom challenges is all part of our work to make research-backed AI development collaborative, rigorous, and practical.  Our team also joined LEAP CEO Scott Frauenheim on a visit to the Cesar Chavez Multicultural Academy to learn more about their student-centered approach. The tour showcased high-quality instruction in math and literacy classrooms, as well as the school’s work to increase attendance. 🚀 Eduaide Version 3 is live —  with Evaluators front and center. Eduaide.Ai's Version 3 is an important upgrade that provides teachers with significant enhancements, including access to our text complexity Evaluators, which assess the pedagogical alignment of AI-generated instructional materials. 📣 Big news from our partners at Digital Promise! The first request for proposals for the K–12 AI Infrastructure Program is open through March 8. This program invites proposals to build the shared technical infrastructure needed to improve how AI supports formative assessment. We’re excited to see this investment in public goods to support research-backed AI in education and strengthen the edtech ecosystem. 

🎉Learning Commons is partnering with Magpie Literacy, Achievement Network (ANet), and New Meridian to create new resources that strengthen AI-powered teaching and learning tools — to help teachers better support each student’s learning journey.
