  • We've been a little quiet on our socials lately, and for good reason. We've been busy doing what we do best - helping labs reduce friction from manual workflows. This week, the Labflow team kicked off a new customer project - this time we’re bringing LabMaster to a veterinary lab in Melbourne. That's right, we're taking our powerful, modular and modern LIMS into the vet world. 🐾 Vet labs might not process the same volumes as human pathology labs, but make no mistake, they're every bit as complex and deserve software that's built for the way modern labs actually work. And here's the kicker... this lab will have digital pathology capabilities baked right into their LIMS from day one. Not bolted on. Not an aftermarket add-on. Native, seamless and ready to go. That's the LabMaster difference. More verticals. More labs. More proof that LabMaster was built to go anywhere pathology goes. Stay tuned - there's plenty more to come. 🚀

  • We’re at the The Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (RCPA) Pathology Update 2026 conference and the traffic at our booth has been fab. 🙌 We've been deep in conversation with pathologists and lab leaders, and two themes keep rising to the top: enabling digital pathology and managing data… exactly what we excel at! From LabMaster AP powering end-to-end anatomical pathology workflows to our interoperability engine LabConductor connecting the systems that make digital pathology possible, Labflow isn't just talking about the future of labs, we’re actually enabling it. 🚀 The best part? We're only getting started. There's plenty more in our pipeline that we can't wait to share. #PathUpdate26 #interoperability #LabOfTheFuture

  • Labflow is heading to the The Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (RCPA) Pathology Update 2026 in Sydney, and we’re landing front and centre, exactly where we belong! For the first time, we're co-exhibiting with Magentus. Magentus brings the foundations.  Labflow brings the future. Together, we make pathology smarter, faster and more connected. 🙌 We're pulling back the curtain on some game-changing software solutions, including LabMaster AP, a complete end-to-end anatomical pathology workflow and reporting platform built for modern labs, with native tools for digital pathology an AI. Pathology is evolving. We're here to lead the charge. Swing by our booth. We'd love to show you what's coming. 👊 #PathUpdate2026 #GameChanger #LabOfTheFuture

  • This morning we joined our Magentus colleagues to kick off the inaugural 'Intelligent Connections' breakfast series in Melbourne, bringing together leaders and innovators from across public and private pathology to discuss the transformation digital pathology is driving in anatomical pathology. We heard from Dr Chris Douglas, Founder and CEO of Histopath Diagnostic Specialists, on how digital pathology has helped his lab tackle one of the industry's biggest challenges: workforce shortages. The technology has been around for decades (yes, decades), yet very few labs have actually implemented it. 🤯 At Labflow, we're all about creating labs of the future and digital pathology is just one of the many areas where we deliver value. We're chuffed to say that our LabConductor interoperability platform is the glue that enabled the entire digital pathology workflow at Histopath, and we're proud to have helped them become the first lab in Australia to go 100% digital for anatomical pathology reporting. Melbourne done. ✅ See you soon Sydney and Brisbane! #interoperability #digitalpathology #labofthefuture

  • The Labflow team doesn't get many chances to all be in the same room, so when we do, we make it count. 💪 This week we brought the entire team together for our company retreat. Time away from the day-to-day to connect in person, align on what matters most, and set ourselves up for continued success. One of the highlights? This morning our Chief Scientist ran an AI workshop that genuinely sparked some great conversation. We explored the ever-expanding toolkit of AI - from writing code and building product specs through to crafting sales presentations - and what it means for how we work and what we can deliver for our customers (and the patients they serve). It's easy to talk about AI. It's another thing to actually build a culture around using it well. Today was a step in that direction. We're excited about what's ahead. 🚀 #TeamRetreat #HealthcareIT #LabOfTheFuture

  • We’re pumped to be working with our Magentus family in kicking off the 'Intelligent Connections' Breakfast Series next week, with Dr Chris Douglas (Founder and CEO, Histopath Diagnostic Specialists) chairing the inaugural event. The series will tackle some of the biggest questions facing laboratory software: integration and interoperability, AI in pathology workflows, and how laboratory software is evolving to support precision medicine. Interoperability is at the core of what Labflow does. Our LabConductor application has enabled the digital interoperability powering Histopath's digital pathology workflows, connecting systems so labs can focus on what matters most: delivering results. We're proud to be part of this conversation about the future of lab software. First stop Melbourne, then Sydney and Brisbane. 💪 #interoperability #digitalpathology #labofthefuture

PATHOLOGY | AU We're delighted to welcome Dr Chris Douglas as Chair of our inaugural ‘Intelligent Connections: A discussion about the future of LIMS’ Breakfast Series event next week. The Histopath Diagnostic Specialists Founder and CEO has spent years improving how diagnostic labs operate and deliver results, providing the perfect perspective for leading this conversation. Pathology is changing fast. AI, digital workflows, precision medicine and growing demand are creating real challenges and opportunities for labs and the systems that support them. We'll be discussing: ✨ The three I’s: Integration, interoperability and interfaces ✨ Where AI fits in pathology workflows and reporting ✨ How LIMS need to evolve for precision medicine and emerging diagnostic areas ✨ What modern lab infrastructure actually needs to look like Next Friday’s event will be the first in a national series running across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, bringing key pathology voices to the table. Magentus has been investing heavily in what comes next for lab software, including welcoming Labflow to our team, and we look forward to honest conversations about where the industry is heading, what needs to change, and how we can support the journey. #Pathology #LIMS #DigitalHealth #HealthcareInnovation #Interoperability #AIinHealthcare #PrecisionMedicine

  • The future is already here, it is just not evenly distributed. Our recent discussion with an Australian-based cancer registry was a clear reminder of how true that is in pathology and cancer reporting. Cancer registries play a critical role in population health, yet so many are still required to work with fragmented systems, outdated infrastructure and inconsistent data streams. This particular registry receives tens of thousands of notifications each year from labs across the Australia, yet much of that information still arrives through fax, secure email, spreadsheets and manual uploads. The technology to streamline this work already exists, but many organisations are simply not equipped with the tools or resources to adopt it. Interoperability middleware and automated analysis pipelines are no longer theoretical. At Labflow we are already using AI within LabConductor, our interoperability platform to interpret HL7, PDFs and unstructured reports, apply SNOMED codes, identify notifiable cancers and route the information instantly to the right destination. The future is here, and it performs at a level that far exceeds traditional manual workflows. What we learned from this conversation is that the limiting factor is not capability. It is accessibility. Many registries and laboratories operate with small teams and ageing systems, which makes it incredibly difficult to modernise without external support. Meanwhile the volume, complexity and geographic spread of pathology reporting continues to grow. There is real opportunity for the sector if we can close this gap. Modern interoperability tools like LabConductor are designed to eliminate the friction between systems, remove the dependency on fax and secure email, and give labs (and registries) the confidence that the right data will reach the right place every time. Improving cancer reporting is a collective responsibility. The technology has arrived. The next step is making it accessible to every lab and every registry that needs it. #axethefax #interoperability #labofthefuture
