This week, KELLS attended the Medicarians Conference in Las Vegas, where we had the opportunity to connect with partners, agents, and leaders across the healthcare and benefits ecosystem, especially those focused on serving seniors. One clear theme stood out: the industry is moving toward a more consumer-centric model, one that is proactive instead of passive, delivers a modern digital experience, and builds greater trust in how people access and navigate their benefits. We are excited by the conversations we had and energized by the opportunity to build a more human-centered experience in dental care, making oral health easier to access, easier to understand, and more connected to overall health. For decades, dental benefits have mostly meant one thing: a provider network you access once or twice a year. But oral health doesn’t happen only during those appointments. You don’t have to say yes to a dental treatment plan on the spot. Whether it’s a crown, root canal, implant, or multiple procedures, KELLS helps you understand: Is the diagnosis clear? Are there alternative options? Is the timing urgent? What’s reasonable vs. aggressive? Here’s how it works: 🦷 Upload your X-rays or treatment plan 🔍 Get a structured review of findings 💰 Compare recommended treatments and understand cost implications We built KELLS to bring transparency, confidence, and data-driven support into dental care so you can make informed decisions, not rushed ones. Before you move forward with treatment, verify it. #dentalcare #secondopinion #healthtech #dentalcosts

As National Children’s Oral Health Month comes to a close, it’s a reminder that good oral health in childhood sets the stage for a lifetime of well-being and there is a lot you can do as parents to support your kids with the right tools. By age 8, more than half of children have experienced a cavity in their baby teeth, and about 13–15% of kids still have untreated decay, especially in communities with limited access to care. Tooth decay isn’t just about teeth. It can cause pain, missed school days, difficulty eating and sleeping, and can widen health disparities based on income and access. That’s where smarter and more accessible care matters: digital health tools and proactive monitoring help families catch issues earlier and make oral health easier to manage. KELLS supports families by bringing early insights, guidance, and transparency to children’s dental care, helping parents stay ahead of problems before they become painful, costly, or disruptive to daily life. 🦷✨ Join today or partner with us: https://www.getkells.com/ American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Smile New York Outreach Kids Smiles Inc. Healthcare is moving fast into the AI era. With ChatGPT for Health launched recently, we’re seeing a wave of AI-native experiences across the ecosystem. Lotus Health AI launched a free AI primary care doctor. b.well Connected Health introduced a white-labeled AI assistant for health plans. Oscar Health launched their AI agent Oswell ŌURA released a private AI model focused on women’s health. Why is everyone building AI? AI is no longer experimental, it's strategic and existential. If you have access to meaningful member data, AI becomes the intelligence layer that transforms passive information into personalized insights and action. Care becomes proactive, continuous, and coordinated. But there’s one major domain that remains overlooked: dentistry. Oral health generates rich, high-signal data: images, symptoms, behavioral patterns, treatment history, yet most of it remains underutilized. Meanwhile, consumers still face fragmented care, inconsistent opinions, opaque pricing, and reactive treatment. What’s also missed is this: dental data is medically critical data too. The mouth is one of the few places where we can directly observe chronic inflammation, bone loss, infection, and microbial imbalance in real time. These signals are closely connected to systemic health. At KELLS, we’re building dental as an AI-first category. We combine AI dental scans, treatment validation, personalized risk insights, and real-time guidance into one intelligent platform supported by expert dental team. Instead of waiting for problems to worsen, members can detect risks earlier, verify recommendations, and navigate care with clarity and confidence. Healthcare is becoming AI-native. Dentistry will not be the last to evolve. Follow KELLS for what's coming soon.

A new WalletHub study comparing all 50 states reveals a wide oral health gap in America. Top-performing states like Illinois, Massachusetts, and Wisconsin rank high in dental visits, low adult tooth loss, and better provider access. At the bottom, states such as Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi struggle with higher shares of adults who haven’t seen a dentist in the past year and elevated rates of untreated decay. The gap isn’t small: • In some states, nearly 1 in 4 adults haven’t had a dental visit in a year. • Dentist supply varies dramatically per capita. • Untreated cavities and gum disease rates differ by double digits across states. Access, prevention, and transparency shouldn’t depend on geography. If we want to close the state-by-state oral health gap, we need scalable digital infrastructure, traditional way of delivering dental care is not enough. KELLS is the modern way for smarter dental health, powered by AI. https://lnkd.in/ePWkS5y #OralHealth #DentalBenefits #HealthEquity #DigitalHealth #PreventiveCare #AI
