Project management & Resource planning software for Professional Service Organisations

About us

ionProjects delivers web-based applications to help project-driven organisations optimize their business processes. Data from every angle within your company gets integrated into a web-based software solution. This avoids unnecessary loss of time and money and will make your company more efficient and profitable. Our solutions are a perfect fit for service-providers who practise a project oriented approach and need a detailed and accurate overview of current projects and their profitability. A lot of those service-providers are still using a whole range of different solutions in areas such as project follow-up, resource planning, time registration and invoicing. ionBIZ combines all this, and more, into one integrated suite. Even though it is a complete suite, most of the modules are available as stand-alone. Because everything runs web-based, you can access it anytime, anyplace, anywhere. Ofcourse it requires a computer that is connected to the internet. Main market segments: * IT Services & Software * Engineering & Design * Internet Software & Webdesign * Management Activities of Holdings & Coordination Centers * Market Research * Environmental Advice & Design * Development, Installation & Maintenance of Networks * Marketing & PR * Database & Data-processing * .....

  • Disconnected tools don't just slow your team down. They cost you money. Billable hours that slip through the gaps. Reports that take longer than they should. Workarounds your team has quietly built around systems they've learned not to trust. None of this shows up as a line item. But it adds up, every month, across every project, across every team. 3 things make the biggest difference: - One platform where project management, resource planning and financials all talk to each other. - Time registration that flows directly into invoicing. No exports, no manual reconciliation. - Real-time visibility on billability, not a monthly report that takes two days to build. ionBIZ has been solving this for years. With ionBiz 2.0, we've doubled down on what already works, pushing performance, scalability and usability further, and adding a custom-built AI support layer. Do you want to know the hidden cost of the gap between what your software should do and what it actually does? 👉 Book a 20-minute call via our website. We'll focus entirely on your setup to identify points of improvement.

Vibecoding with a view.

Someone called in sick this morning. How long did it take you to find cover? For most managers, the answer involves: - Opening a spreadsheet that may not be up to date - Checking plans and calendars in separate tools - Calling lots of people about their skills and availability - Estimating the impact on the project schedule This process can take between 30 minutes and 2 hours. It often happens multiple times a month. And in organisations of 50–300 people, it's happening simultaneously across multiple teams and projects. That's a lot of management time spent on a problem that should only take 5 minutes (or less!) The organisations that feel most in control of their operations aren't necessarily the ones with the most experienced managers. They're the ones where resource planning, skills matrices and availability data all live in the same up-to-date system. They're the ones whose managers aren't spending their mornings making phone calls to find out who's available. How does your team handle unplanned absence today? If you're not entirely happy with the answer, schedule a short call to discuss what a more efficient workflow could look like for your company. No pitch, no obligation, just honest advice to improve your efficiency!

  • Your software stack is probably more expensive than you think. The licence fees are just the tip of the iceberg. Most service businesses accumulate tools the same way: - A project tool here. - An invoicing platform there. - Time tracking in one place. - HR in another. Each tool solved a real problem at the time. But at some point the tools stopped serving the business. And the business started serving the tools. The licence fees are the visible part. The invisible part is much bigger. When did you last audit which tools your team is actually running, and what they are actually costing you?

I've sat in a lot of ERP demos over the years. Some were impressive. Most were not. Not because the software was bad. Because the buying process was. Three mistakes kept coming up, across companies of all sizes, in every sector. And every time, they led to the same outcome: the wrong platform, a painful implementation, or both. (I admit I made my share of mistakes too). The good news? All 3 mistakes are avoidable. Swipe through to recognise them when they present themselves. Which of these mistakes resonates most? And which other mistakes do you often see in ERP buying processes? Drop your thoughts in the comments. I can’t wait to hear your input. And if you're currently evaluating platforms and want a second opinion, my calendar link is in my bio. No pitch, no obligation, honest advice.

Most service businesses have more software tools than they are aware of. And less operational clarity than they'd like to admit. Why? If you work with scattered tools, your integration layer isn't software. It's your people. And that's a huge risk. - Colleague 1 transfers data from one tool into another. - Another one reconciles timesheets with payroll. - And another builds the weekly management report from 5 different sources in a spreadsheet that only they fully understand, and that breaks every time someone changes a column header. These tasks happen every week and they don't appear on any cost report, because they're filed under "that's just how we work here." And when one of those colleagues calls in sick, you're not just short-staffed. You're blind. The question isn't whether integration is worth the investment. It's how long you want to keep paying for inefficient workflows instead. If any of this sounds familiar, contact us to discuss what a more efficient workflow could look like for your company. No pitch, no obligation, just honest advice to improve your efficiency.

Let's shake some dust (zou onze MD zeggen)
