Just coming up for air after a great few days at Forrester’s B2B Summit, and my head is full in the best way. One theme kept coming up over and over again: buyer behavior is changing faster than many of our traditional go-to-market models are built to keep up with. The conversations around AI search, answer engines, and the “invisible buyer” really stuck with me. Buyers are doing more research than ever, but we’re seeing fewer of the signals we’ve historically relied on. Fewer clicks, less visible engagement, and more decision-making happening before sales or marketing ever sees it. It really reinforced something I’ve been thinking a lot about lately: the connection between brand, trust, and demand has never been more important. So much preference is formed before a hand is ever raised. For those of us leading sales and marketing teams, it raises some important questions around how we measure influence, how early we engage buying groups, and how we use AI to improve relevance without losing the human judgment and authenticity that still matter greatly. Leaving the week with a lot of ideas, especially around how we better stitch together brand, demand, and customer visibility in a world where the old signals are changing fast. Also, really proud of our team and the way Informa TechTarget showed up this week. Huge kudos to our marketing organization Staci M. Gullotta, Christine Woodyard and Garrett Mann for pulling off a fantastic presence and creating space for meaningful conversations with customers and partners. These are the weeks that remind me how much I love being in this space. #ForresterB2B #B2BMarketing #SalesLeadership #DemandGen #AI

My first post-#ForrB2BSummit post is one of appreciation! I had the pleasure of sitting down with Katrina Ross from #Tanium this week — and she brought something you don't always see on stage: radical transparency. Katrina didn't just share wins. She talked openly about where Tanium's marketing had room to grow, how they evolved, and what it actually looks like to treat a partner like Informa TechTarget as an extension of your team rather than a vendor. Actionable, honest, and genuinely useful for everyone in that room. Katrina Ross, thank you for your candor and for modeling what a real partnership looks like on stage. Proud to work alongside you — and even prouder to call you my new, party planning, friend.
