When missile alerts and drone strikes hit Dubai earlier this year, our team there faced a question no office lead expects to ask: are you safe? For six weeks, our Dubai colleagues navigated sirens, school closures, and real uncertainty – while keeping the business running without interruption. Most of the team weren't born there and almost everyone had the option to leave, but they stayed, because Dubai is home. What stood out wasn't just resilience, it was the team spirit alongside it. Colleagues across London, Melbourne, and beyond checked in daily – not about product roadmaps or revenue, but about whether people were okay. Leaders dialled in every morning to check in. IG Group has a new Head of Japan. Qu Zhao joined us at the beginning of April bringing 15+ years of experience across some of the most competitive consumer tech markets in the world. Most recently CMO for Japan at Futu Holdings, Qu also spent time at Tinder as Head of East Asia, leading across Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. Yesterday we held our Group Town Hall - and there was a lot to cover. We’ve delivered our strongest-ever financial performance. Revenue hit £1.12 billion in 2025, and for the first time, net trading revenue crossed the £1 billion mark. A huge thank you to everyone across the business - and on top of that, we're now a FTSE 100 company. A milestone to celebrate. Offices around the world tuned in and made a moment of it. Chicago watched over donuts and fresh coffee. Krakow had their own spread of sweet treats. London gathered together in the Hub for an office-wide lunch. London had one more moment to mark. Jody Dunn and Michael Healy (MD of IG UK&I) revealed the winners of our meeting room naming competition - 70 entries, 170+ names, and 13 rooms to fill. Two themes came out on top: Finance and Trading, and London Markets; both rooted in who IG is and where we’re headed.
