Awesome visit with one of our favorite customers at AFP Icon earlier this week in San Diego, DonorPerfect. 🔥 Watching Product and Engineering teams offer new integrations to customers with robust configuration options is so fun. Basically feels like giving them superpowers. Evan's team has gone live with a Mailchimp integration using Hotglue with an extremely low lift from their team. Needless to say, we love seeing Product teams address customer needs with ease! Excited to see partnerships like these blossom; in terms of integrations partnerships, the rising tide always lifts all ships.

One thing really stood out to me at Shoptalk this year: e-commerce is a giant web of dependencies. Walking the floor, you really see the full stack laid out: • Marketplaces like Shopify powering storefronts • PIMs like Inriver managing product data • ERPs like Acumatica running the back office • Shipping APIs like Shippo and EasyPost handling fulfillment • Reviews platforms like Yotpo and Bazaarvoice driving trust • Returns platforms like Loop and Redo improving CX • Cross-listing platforms like Mirakl Connect expanding reach And that’s just scratching the surface. The real takeaway isn’t any one tool — it’s how many tools a single brand depends on to operate. Which makes one thing clear: Integrations aren’t just a feature. They’re a core part of the product. 🔌 What’s broken is how much time and money still goes into stitching these tools together: • SIs building one-off integrations for individual brands • Teams maintaining fragile, custom pipelines • Brands accepting weeks/months of setup as “normal” If it takes all of that to get up and running, it’s already a poor user experience. The products that stood out at Shoptalk weren’t just best-in-class — they fit. They plug in, work out of the box, and don’t require a project plan to get value. That’s the new bar. ⚡ Integrations are too critical to offload to brands or keep rebuilding from scratch. The products that invest in strong native integrations are creating a 10x better user experience for brands, and they will win. We’re moving toward a world where brands will increasingly expect these tools to talk to each other natively. If they don’t… they’ll find one that does.
