  • What a night! Thank you to all the members and community partners who came out to 4 Eagle Ranch last week for our Annual Meeting. Tasty dinner, bucket truck rides, safety demonstrations, lawn games, and great conversation about where your co-op is headed. And a special shoutout to those who voted in your Board of Directors election: we hit record election participation this year! That's what 'The Power of Local Connection' looks like. Thank you for showing up for your co-op!

  • What do elk, pika, beavers, and other wildlife across our mountain valleys have in common with Holy Cross Energy? They each tell a story about resilience, adaptability, stewardship, and working together to thrive in a dynamic environment. Our 2025 Annual Report uses the wildlife found throughout our service territory as a way to illustrate the values that guide our cooperative and the progress we're making toward a cleaner, more reliable, and more affordable energy future. Inside, you'll find highlights from another strong year, including continued progress toward our 100x30 clean energy goal, investments in grid reliability and wildfire mitigation, innovative member programs, and the many ways we're working to keep your power affordable, reliable, safe, and sustainable. We invite you to explore the report and discover how the lessons we learn from the natural world around us continue to inspire the work we do every day for our members and communities. • It’s exciting to see years of planning and hard work come together in a meaningful way. In March, Holy Cross Energy provided 100% renewable electricity to our members for the entire month. This milestone represents more than just a number, it reflects ongoing efforts to manage and reduce power supply costs while building a more resilient and sustainable energy future for the communities we serve. • Our Annual Meeting is coming up on Thursday, June 11 at 4 Eagle Ranch in Wolcott! In addition to our state-of-the-cooperative presentation and Board of Directors election results, we've got a fun lineup of member appreciation activities, including bucket truck rides for the kids, a live band, a mechanical bull, and, new this year, a $1,000 Watt's Next scholarship for graduating seniors moving on to a trade school or 4-year college. HCE members and community partners may RSVP at the link below. See you there!

  • Reducing wildfire risk is something we work on every single day, not just when conditions get scary. Year-round, our crews are out completing rigorous vegetation management work, high-tech equipment inspections, and state-of-the-art system upgrades along our power lines. Click the link in the comments below for some helpful resources that we're sharing with our members on what they can do to prepare, and learn more about what we’re doing every day to keep them and our communities safe.

  • One of the best things about being a member-owned co-op? The people guiding our company decisions are your fellow members. No outside shareholders here! This year, five of your fellow members are running for two seats on our Board of Directors, and every Holy Cross Energy member gets to vote for one candidate in each district. Beginning today, members may vote online via their Smarthub account, or be on the lookout for a hard-copy ballot in the mail over the next few days. Before you vote, take a few minutes to read our full candidate Q&A in the link in the comments and hear what they’re about. It’s your co-op, your voice, and your vote!

  • Thank you to Big Pivots for highlighting Holy Cross Energy’s path to providing 85% of our members' electricity from clean energy sources in 2025. This progress reflects the strength of our members, our partners, and our cooperative model. 🤝 Together, we’re building a cleaner, more resilient energy future.
