One more vessel joins the Grimaldi fleet 🛳️   The Grimaldi Group marked another key milestone in #Shanghai with the naming and delivery of the Grande Inghilterra, its eleventh ammonia-ready Pure Car & Truck Carrier. Designed to combine high cargo capacity with reduced #environmental impact, the vessel integrates advanced technological solutions such as solar panels, mega lithium batteries, and cold ironing readiness—further strengthening the Group’s commitment to more #sustainable #shipping. The vessel’s name pays tribute to the Group’s long-established ties with #England, reflecting decades of continuous presence in the country. The ceremony once again highlighted the importance of strong international partnerships, bringing together representatives from the shipyard, the Grimaldi Group, and key industry players. The Group reaffirmed that investing in cutting-edge vessels like the Grande Inghilterra represents a concrete contribution to the #energy transition of maritime transport, while continuing to meet customers’ needs with increasingly high-quality services and supporting global logistics chains through constant improvements in #efficiency and #sustainability.

On April 17, the christening and delivery of the Grande Tokyo—Grimaldi’s tenth ammonia-ready Pure Car & Truck Carrier—was successfully completed in Shanghai, marking both an important addition to the fleet and the closing of a strategic chapter.   The Grande Tokyo is the last of a series of seven sister vessels built at the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. and CSTC shipyards, completing a major investment program that has helped set new benchmarks in efficiency and environmental performance in vehicle logistics. The ship’s name pays tribute to #Japan and its growing role within the Group’s network.   The christening ceremony brought together key representatives from the shipyard and the Grimaldi Group, underlining the strength of international collaboration behind this project.   With a capacity of over 9,200 CEU, cutting-edge onboard technologies, and future readiness for ammonia as a zero-carbon fuel, this new generation vessel embodies the transition toward greener and lower-emission shipping solutions.   The maiden voyage will soon see the Grande Tokyo sailing from #China to #Brazil, carrying thousands of vehicles along one of the world’s most dynamic trade routes. #Shipping #MaritimeTransport #Logistics #Sustainability

Grimaldi Lines torna on air con il nuovo spot “Viaggia tranquillo” Il commercial, pianificato su tv, piattaforme OTT, digital e DOOH, rappresenta il naturale prosieguo di quello lanciato lo scorso anno. Con l'avvicinarsi dell'estate, Grimaldi Lines torna on air su tv, web e Dooh, con il nuovo spot “Viaggia tranquillo".  Con creatività e regia di Fabio Breccia e produzione gestita internamente insieme a RTI – Gruppo Mediaset, con il supporto tecnico di On Air Milano, il video rappresenta il naturale prosieguo di quello lanciato lo scorso anno. Se nello spot precedente, realizzato nei tagli da 60”, 40”, 30”, 15” e 10”, oltre che nei formati verticali, era il nipote a raccontare il viaggio a bordo di Grimaldi Lines alla nonna, questa nuova creatività gioca sull’inversione dei ruoli. Il racconto, leggero e giocoso, accompagna la descrizione dell’esperienza di viaggio con Grimaldi Lines, mettendo in evidenza le opportunità offerte e le destinazioni raggiungibili con le navi della compagnia. Il claim finale, “Viaggia tranquillo”, invita il pubblico a vivere il viaggio nel Mediterraneo in totale serenità: portare con sé tutto il necessario, approfittare delle aree relax e godere di cabine confortevoli. La pianificazione, curata internamente, prevede la presenza della campagna sulle principali emittenti televisive nazionali, sulle piattaforme OTT, sul digital e su Dooh.

Lo scorso fine settimana siamo stati presenti a B-Travel a Barcellona, uno dei principali eventi del settore turistico rivolto sia ai professionisti che al pubblico viaggiatore.   Durante la fiera, che si è svolta, oltre 100 aziende e destinazioni si sono riunite per condividere tendenze, esperienze e nuove modalità di viaggiare, con un chiaro focus sul turismo sostenibile e responsabile. New delivery for the Grimaldi Group: Grande Seoul joins the fleet.   The Grimaldi Group has taken delivery in Shanghai of the Grande Seoul, a new Pure Car & Truck Carrier (PCTC) built by Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. and China Shipbuilding Trading Company. The vessel is the ninth ammonia-ready unit in the fleet, designed for a future conversion to ammonia as a zero-carbon fuel. ⚡🌱 With a capacity of 9,241 CEU, the ship can transport cars, SUVs, vans and other rolling cargo, including heavy units of up to 250 tonnes. She also stands out for her advanced environmental performance, reducing CO₂ emissions per unit of cargo by up to 50% compared with previous-generation vessels. Key features include a state-of-the-art electronic engine, RINA’s “Ammonia Ready” certification, and shore power capability during port stays. ⚓🔌 In the coming days, Grande Seoul will begin her maiden voyage on the Asia–Europe route, departing from Shanghai (Taicang) bound for Antwerp, Portbury and Vigo. With a capacity of 9,000 CEU and the ability to cut fuel consumption by 50% compared to previous generations, the vessel sets a new benchmark for efficiency in automotive shipping.
