12 Products. 1 Year. A Lot of Lessons! This year I built 12 products. Here’s the full list, with a snapshot of where they are now: 1. FlipShopify Tool – No real traction, CLOSED 2. Size My Bag (sizemybag.com) – My MOST successful project, SEO and visitors doubling every month. 3. GhostKitPro – No traction, CLOSED 4. ForgottenAtlas (forgottenatlas.com) – Second most successful, starting to grow steadily now. 5. ScopeForge Pro (chrome extension) – Still live, but only 2 sales 6. MaxLiftCalc (maxliftcalc.com) – Ongoing, no plans to close or update 7. UK Tattoo Directory (uktattoodirectory.co.uk) – Doing well, growing all the time 8. HawkinsIndex.com (hawkinsindex.com) – Stranger Things character and story map, just launched and already doing well 9. Promptivore (promptivore.com) – Got traction during the hackathon, but now CLOSED 10. Toffi.me (toffi.me) – Started out the gates strong, but has stalled without ongoing attention 11. Waiting Room App (stuckhereforever.online) – Online game, still going strong 12. Savvy Automate (savvyautomate.com) – Co-founded with Wendy Moulang and Bridgette Moulang, the biggest contender for success, and where all my focus lies right now What I’ve learned from building 12 products: 1. Traction & Metrics Matter Some projects really found their audience, while others barely left a mark. A few key SEO numbers: Size My Bag – all-time SEO impressions: 94.9k, average ranking: 10 UK Tattoo Directory – all-time SEO impressions: 22.6k, average ranking: 9 ForgottenAtlas – all-time SEO impressions: 16.8k, average ranking: 27 Seeing this made it clear what resonates, and just how much consistent SEO can move the needle. 2. Build & Execution Insights The tools you pick make a massive difference. Size My Bag was built in Lovable and it was a joy, easy to set up, update SEO, and push new data to Supabase. The WordPress-built directories worked, but were much more time-consuming to maintain, even with plugins. From now on, ease of build and ongoing management is a huge factor for me. 3. Audience & Market Fit Lessons Most products were built around SEO keywords, but traction isn’t guaranteed. Even with the “right” keywords, timing, luck, and real user interest make all the difference. Testing beyond SEO metrics ie. getting real-world feedback is vital. 4. Personal & Workflow Learnings Building is fun. Managing multiple businesses? Not so much. I now prefer creating tools and directories that are genuinely useful but largely self-sustaining. 5. Applying the Lessons All these learnings are shaping my work with Savvy Automate. They’ve given me the skills to design and deliver automation and AI integrations efficiently, and they’ve helped me focus on projects that scale with impact while staying manageable. This is where my focus belongs, and it’s clear the lessons from the past 12 builds are setting me up for long-term success.
