12 Products. 1 Year. A Lot of Lessons! This year I built 12 products. Here’s the full list, with a snapshot of where they are now: 1. FlipShopify Tool – No real traction, CLOSED 2. Size My Bag (sizemybag.com) – My MOST successful project, SEO and visitors doubling every month. 3. GhostKitPro – No traction, CLOSED 4. ForgottenAtlas (forgottenatlas.com) – Second most successful, starting to grow steadily now. 5. ScopeForge Pro (chrome extension) – Still live, but only 2 sales 6. MaxLiftCalc (maxliftcalc.com) – Ongoing, no plans to close or update 7. UK Tattoo Directory (uktattoodirectory.co.uk) – Doing well, growing all the time 8. HawkinsIndex.com (hawkinsindex.com) – Stranger Things character and story map, just launched and already doing well 9. Promptivore (promptivore.com) – Got traction during the hackathon, but now CLOSED 10. Toffi.me (toffi.me) – Started out the gates strong, but has stalled without ongoing attention 11. Waiting Room App (stuckhereforever.online) – Online game, still going strong 12. Savvy Automate (savvyautomate.com) – Co-founded with Wendy Moulang and Bridgette Moulang, the biggest contender for success, and where all my focus lies right now What I’ve learned from building 12 products: 1. Traction & Metrics Matter Some projects really found their audience, while others barely left a mark. A few key SEO numbers: Size My Bag – all-time SEO impressions: 94.9k, average ranking: 10 UK Tattoo Directory – all-time SEO impressions: 22.6k, average ranking: 9 ForgottenAtlas – all-time SEO impressions: 16.8k, average ranking: 27 Seeing this made it clear what resonates, and just how much consistent SEO can move the needle. 2. Build & Execution Insights The tools you pick make a massive difference. Size My Bag was built in Lovable and it was a joy, easy to set up, update SEO, and push new data to Supabase. The WordPress-built directories worked, but were much more time-consuming to maintain, even with plugins. From now on, ease of build and ongoing management is a huge factor for me. 3. Audience & Market Fit Lessons Most products were built around SEO keywords, but traction isn’t guaranteed. Even with the “right” keywords, timing, luck, and real user interest make all the difference. Testing beyond SEO metrics ie. getting real-world feedback is vital. 4. Personal & Workflow Learnings Building is fun. Managing multiple businesses? Not so much. I now prefer creating tools and directories that are genuinely useful but largely self-sustaining. 5. Applying the Lessons All these learnings are shaping my work with Savvy Automate. They’ve given me the skills to design and deliver automation and AI integrations efficiently, and they’ve helped me focus on projects that scale with impact while staying manageable. This is where my focus belongs, and it’s clear the lessons from the past 12 builds are setting me up for long-term success.

I have crafted the ultimate n8n crash course for complete beginners. And if you notice, most n8n tutorials out there skip the fundamentals. They jump straight into building automations without explaining what workflows actually are, how nodes connect, or why APIs matter. That's frustrating. So I took a different approach. This guide starts from absolute zero—no prior knowledge required. You'll learn: - What workflows are (and why they matter) - How n8n thinks about automation - The anatomy of every workflow you'll ever build - How to connect with any API (step-by-step) - How to pass data between nodes like a pro And here's the best part: We're not building a toy example. You'll create a real AI-powered content pipeline that: - Takes a topic as input - Generates a table of contents using Perplexity AI - Writes a full article using Claude - Prepares it for publishing All under 45-60 minutes. No fluff. No skipped steps. No "figure it out yourself" moments. Just a clear, patient walkthrough as if I'm sitting right next to you. If you've been curious about n8n but didn't know where to start, this is your guide. If you prefer reading the article version of the PDF, the link is in the comments section. #n8n #aiautomation #ai

I have cracked a successful technique for generating professional LinkedIn headshots using Nano Banana. And that is... Using Reference Images for Generating Believable LinkedIn Headshots This can be achieved in three simple steps. Step 1: Find Your Reference Image Look for a professional headshot you like (make sure you’re using it ethically and legally). Step 2: Let AI Describe it. Upload the reference image to an AI chatbot and ask it to describe the photo. Image Prompt Generation Instructions: START YOUR RESPONSE WITH: “For the uploaded picture, generate an image of…” Analyze the reference image and create a prompt for generating similar professional headshots. BE MINIMAL – only describe what is clearly visible. NEVER INCLUDE: * Racial, ethnic, or skin tone descriptors * Facial features, hair details, body type, accessories, age, or gender indicators ONLY INCLUDE WHAT’S VISIBLE: Expression: Simple description only (e.g., “warm smile” or “neutral expression”) Clothing: Describe exactly what’s worn – color, garment type, style Clothing shadows: Describe any visible shadows on clothing – under lapels, on collar, fabric folds, etc. Note shadow depth and softness Lighting: Direction and quality (e.g., “soft frontal lighting” or “three-point lighting”) Facial shadows: Describe any visible shadows on the face – under chin, on neck, on one side of face, etc. Note if face is evenly lit with no shadows Background: Exact color (with warm/cool note), brightness level. If gradient exists, specify it is VERY SUBTLE with minimal difference between center and edges. State if evenly lit or has subtle variation Background shadows: Only if clearly visible – describe direction and softness. If none visible, state “no background shadow” Framing: What’s visible (e.g., “head and shoulders” or “upper chest to top of head”) Position: Head/body angle relative to camera Rules: 1. Describe only what you actually see – don’t infer or add details 2. Keep descriptions factual and minimal 3. Any gradients should be described as VERY SUBTLE with minimal tonal variation END YOUR RESPONSE WITH: CRITICAL RESTRICTIONS: 1. NO multiple backgrounds or layered backgrounds 2. NO rounded corners or circular crops 3. NO additional background colors or borders 4. NO dramatic background gradients – background should be evenly lit or have only minimal, natural lighting variation 5. Standard rectangular crop only 6. DO NOT add shadows if none exist in the reference image Step 3: Generate Your Headshot Take that AI-generated description and provide it to Nano Banana along with your own profile picture. Nano Banana will then create a similar professional headshot using your photo instead. As a result, you get a headshot with the professional style you wanted, but with your face – no guesswork, no endless trial and error 🙂 Sounds easy? It is easier than you think! #NanoBanana #AI #LinkedIn
