About us
Forge Centre for Dignity-Driven Leadership is a B Corp focused on strengthening social health through leadership, practice, and learning. We work with leaders, practitioners, and organizations across Canada to build the relational and moral capacities that support dignity, accountability, and repair. Our work is grounded in real-world conditions and designed to help people navigate conflict, respond to complexity, and lead in ways that hold under pressure. Forge brings together inner development, relational practice, and leadership. We develop practical tools, learning experiences, and applied processes that translate research and field learning into everyday capability. We design and convene high-impact learning experiences focused on relational leadership and innovation. This includes bringing together leaders across sectors to work on real challenges, strengthen their ability to navigate complexity, and identify meaningful points of leverage for change. Our leadership development work includes developmental practice, Enneagram-informed coaching, and action learning approaches that support presence, discernment, and effective action in complex environments. Forge operates a growing social health learning platform, developing tools and pathways that support mental health, relational capacity, and leadership in everyday contexts. We also co-lead the Men & Project, a national initiative focused on men’s mental, emotional, and relational health as a strategy for violence prevention. Men & works with communities across Canada to engage men earlier, strengthen pathways to support, and improve how systems respond to men’s needs. At the centre of our work is creating new relational and social possibilities and fostering hopeful engagement. We help people and systems stay connected, take responsibility, and repair when things break down.

We bring our emotional state into the conversation, and emotions from past experiences. Intense feelings of anger, fear, or insecurity might pop up when part of us feels threatened. Every argument has underlying emotions. It's important to recognize the emotional state that each person brings into the conversation and acknowledge when intense emotions are activated during a conflict.
