  • We are pleased to announce that FOR EV is expanding our fleet decarbonisation offering through a new partnership with fellow Edinburgh-based company, Gofor. By integrating Gofor’s salary sacrifice scheme into our fleet service, we are providing businesses with a straightforward and cost-effective way to make electric vehicles available to a wider group of employees.   This collaboration supports EV adoption beyond traditional operational fleet vehicles, helping our customers accelerate progress toward their sustainability and ESG goals.   We recognise that for many organisations, securing the vehicles is only the first step. Long-term operational success depends on having the right infrastructure in place to keep fleets moving. By pairing Gofor’s expertise with our dedicated depot charging solutions, we ensure that as access to EVs widens, charging remains practical, reliable, and scalable. • We’re delighted to be shortlisted at the Scottish Transport Awards for our work with North Lanarkshire Council (NLC). Our end-to-end “Charging as a Service” solution enabled NLC to accelerate their EV fleet transition by removing the significant challenge of budgeting for large capital expenditure. With zero upfront cost and no government funding, NLC were the first Local Authority in Scotland to embrace this innovative approach. This approach reinforces the immense potential for private sector investment to independently drive the rapid expansion of electric vehicle infrastructure, demonstrating a financially sustainable pathway for nationwide EV adoption. #ScottishTransportAwards #FleetElectrification #ChargingAsAService #NetZero #EVInfrastructure #FleetEV

Up to £1,000,000 in funding for your fleet. The Depot Charging Fund is officially REOPEN.    The UK Government has just launched the £170M Depot Charging Scheme to support the transition of HGVs, vans, and coaches to electric. For this first window, operators can secure up to £1M to cover 70% of infrastructure and civil costs. But here is what you need to know to apply:  1️⃣ It is First-Come, First-Served: The window closes on 30 June 2026, or sooner if the £28M budget is exhausted. 2️⃣ The Rate is Guaranteed to Drop: Future funding rounds will see grant rates reduce. This is likely the highest level of support you will receive.  3️⃣ Strict Delivery Window: All projects must be completed by 31 March 2027. 4️⃣ One-Shot at Success: You only get one application per organisation.  During the last round, FOR EV supported numerous clients in successfully securing these grants by providing:   ✅ Rapid UK-wide Surveys: We get eyes on your site immediately. ✅ Pre-Costed Bundles: Ready-to-go charger packages to simplify your application. ✅ Stock on Hand: No delay in lead-time; we are ready to deploy charging infrastructure. ✅ Proven Track Record: We successfully guided multiple fleets through the last funding round.   We don’t just help you apply; we ensure your project is deliverable from day one. Let us guide you through the next steps to ensure your fleet makes the most of this opportunity.   Contact FOR EV today to start your application: forfleets@forev.co.uk

Delivering Scotland’s first council fleet electrification with no upfront capital cost or government funding North Lanarkshire Council (NLC) is the first Local Authority in Scotland to leverage private sector capital for fleet charging infrastructure on a service model, without any upfront capital cost to them.    Our innovative FOR Fleets model is perfectly positioned to support public sector bodies in transitioning their fleets to electric, without facing the challenge of large project outlays.   NLC's Bellshill site will feature six cutting-edge DC charging bays, providing essential infrastructure to support the council’s ambitious journey towards a zero-emission fleet.    The site can also support other registered public sector fleets with access to rapid charging at a key location in proximity to Scotland’s major motorway network.
