Good things keep happening on the Flosum sales team! Say hello to Zachary Samiljan, joining us as an Enterprise Account Executive. 👋 A decade in SaaS sales, 4.5 of those years at OwnBackup, gave Zack a front row seat to how enterprise Salesforce teams think about data protection and recovery. He understands the ecosystem deeply, and more importantly, he knows where things tend to go wrong. He's joining Flosum to help customers tackle exactly that. DevOps, backup and recovery, Salesforce data management. With his background, he’s especially passionate about helping teams think through how they protect and manage their data as their environments grow more complex. Outside of work, Zack is a husband, a dad to a one-year-old, and a proud owner of a French bulldog named Ollie. He stays active, loves the outdoors, and has a home that's one plant away from being classified as a greenhouse. He's also a longtime WBGO member to fuels his love for jazz and blues and spends his downtime exploring new restaurants and breweries across New England. Welcome to the team, Zack. You've already got the green thumb - excited to see what you help us grow here.

It was a step-by-step guided workflow. We tried removing data on a regular basis which is the daily restoration process. We also tried weekly backups that were the level of depth to which we can actually store information. Everything went flawlessly.” - Rajith Medagani, Director, Brand Support Solutions, Hilton

Will you be in New York on April 29 for Agentforce World Tour? Come meet us, just outside the convention center. We’re hosting five private sessions at the Salesforce Tower, 10 minutes from the Javits Center. Real coffee, a quieter room, and 30 minutes to actually talk through what’s happening in your Salesforce environment. As AI and agents accelerate change, the gap between speed and control is only getting harder to manage. That’s the conversation we’re having. Limited spots. By appointment only. Grab time with us here → https://lnkd.in/gmikU-24

TDX takeaway: Backup and governance are not the same thing. Backup helps you recover after something goes wrong. It's reactive. It protects against loss. Governance prevents things from going wrong in the first place. It's proactive. It protects against both loss AND theft. Here's the key difference: Even with perfect backup, if an agent exfiltrates customer data, you still have a breach. GDPR notification is still required. Fines still apply. The data is already stolen. Backup gives you recovery capability. Governance gives you control at the point of action. Both are necessary. But they're not substitutes for each other. Most Salesforce incidents aren't technical problems. They're operational failures starting with one incorrect assumption. Salesforce rarely goes down. But you can still experience major incidents due to broken automations, bad deployments, permission misconfigurations, and data corruption. All of these fall under customer responsibility. When a routine change corrupts thousands of records and you don't have reliable recovery capability, the business impact is immediate: - Finance can't trust reporting - Sales teams lose visibility - Operations scramble to reconstruct records The Shared Responsibility Model matters. Enterprises that operationalize it with DevOps, backup, and governance recover faster, deploy safely, pass audits easily, and innovate confidently. If Salesforce is mission-critical, you can't afford to misunderstand this model. Our new white paper explains: - The risks most teams overlook - Why Salesforce incidents become business crises - How to operationalize your responsibilities Download the white paper → https://lnkd.in/gCAsB9bz

Ten days out: London Breakfast Briefing on Agent-Aware Governance Autonomous agents are already running in Salesforce production environments, processing 50,000 records an hour. Traditional governance was built for humans operating at 50. That gap is where incidents happen. We're hosting a small breakfast discussion for Salesforce leaders who need to close it without slowing their teams down. 📅 Thursday, 30 April 2026 🕘 9:00–11:00 AM GMT 📍 The Anthologist, 58 Gresham Street, London This is a working session, not a presentation. On the table: – Real incidents from 2025–2026: prompt injection, OAuth compromise, database corruption – The Enforce, Observe, Recover framework – Where teams are finding visibility gaps – Assessment questions you can put to work Monday morning You'll leave with: – The complete Agent-Aware Governance whitepaper – Peer perspectives from other Salesforce teams – Concrete next steps for your environment Seats are intentionally limited to keep the conversation practical. If you missed our TDX speaking session, lucky for you we've got plenty more highlights from our wonderful Keith West. From our recent Agent-Aware Webinar: "The difference here is not whether you have AI or not. You may already have these exposure scenarios in your governance - you're just not seeing them because we're moving at human speed. People catch things during the process. AI is going to start doing this work a lot faster, and there won't be humans catching those issues." If you can't scale DevOps at human speed without governance... how can you expect AI to? This isn't just an AI problem. It's a foundation problem. And a foundation problem doesn't get better when you add speed. So what does fixing the foundation actually look like? 📄 Read the speaking session summary → https://lnkd.in/gHynE2g8 🎥 Watch the full webinar → https://lnkd.in/gFu_jPbu

LIVE DAY 2@ TDX We're back at Booth 4, Level 2 and the conversations are only getting better! Yesterday's theme was clear: teams are shipping faster than ever, but governance hasn't kept pace. Agents are making changes at 50,000 records/hour. Traditional controls assume time for human review. That math doesn't work. Come talk to Girish Jashnani Matt Lyman Joe Morse Keith West Ken Walker Stephen Manniso Scott Cotter Greg Witzig about: 🔹 Building audit-ready pipelines that scale with AI-generated code without slowing down innovation 🔹 Immutable audit trails and automated approval workflows across Dev → QA → UAT → Prod 🔹 Instant rollback and why clean rollback is a governance capability, not just a safety net 🔹 Zero-trust, Salesforce architecture Bring your governance gaps. We'll help you figure out what readiness actually looks like for your setup. → https://lnkd.in/g-rhXVGg #TDX26 #Agentforce #SalesforceDevOps
