When Benjamin and Ariel founded Fittingbox, their ambition was clear: to make eyewear shopping easier. Both have a strong prescription, and their main paint point when trying on new glasses was blurry vision 🤔 The early version of Virtual Try-On was a first step: you simply had to take a picture of you, then place different virtual frames on it. But the real goal was making this experience instant, seamless and natural After years of R&D, Fittingbox introduced Frame Removal: a world-first in diminished reality, unveiled at CES 2022 🤗 This technology virtually removes the glasses worn on the user's face, then replaces them with a 3D digitized frame in real time, allowing the customer to view a new pair of eyeglasses without blurry vision Now, Frame Removal is one of the most popular features among our clients. Benjamin predicted it all, and it turned out even better 😄 In March, we performed 31.7 million Virtual Try-Ons, which means 1 million glasses tried on online per day... a milestone reached faster than expected! In fact, back in January, we shared what was then our highest record: 29 million Virtual Try-Ons in one month. Benjamin commented that reaching 1 million per day within three months felt achievable Two months later, we’re there... and even beyond! This figure also marks a significant step forward compared to past years, with twice as many Virtual Try-Ons as in March 2024 More than a number, this reflects how integrating Virtual Try-On in the eyewear online shopping journey has become a must 😉 Users engage more, explore more, and rely on it to make confident decisions online Sky really is the limit! ✈️

20 ans c’est fêter notre technologie, oui, mais surtout fêter les personnes qui y travaillent tous les jours Fittingbox est un projet né en 2006 de 2 cousins, Benjamin et Ariel. 6 ans après, l’équipe était déjà composée de 43 personnes… Et en 2025, lors de notre toute dernière photo d’équipe prise durant le séminaire annuel, ce sont 150 personnes qui apparaissent sur la photo ! 🤗 Grandir c’est une chose... Mais grandir en restant fidèles à ce qui nous construit en est une autre 🫶 Ce qui rend cette évolution encore plus particulière, ce sont les 10 personnes qui sont présentes sur la photo de 2012, mais aussi sur celle de 2025 (👋 Ariel, Benjamin, Sylvain, Bernard, Alexis, Hugo, Christophe, Patrick, Adrien & William) Ces 20 belles années sont la preuve que derrière chaque innovation il y a une équipe soudée qui fête ensemble chaque réussite ! PS : le thème du séminaire de 2025 était « safari dans la jungle »… Rendez-vous dans quelques mois pour découvrir le thème du séminaire 2026 ? 😉
