Nine years ago, we set out with a bold vision and a team fueled with enough passion to make it real. Today, that same passion continues to propel us forward. Every milestone we’ve reached is a reflection of the people behind it. Our Fireflies show up every day ready to push boundaries and redefine what’s possible. As we celebrate another year, we’re proud of how far we’ve come, but even more excited about where we’re going next.
About us
Firefly Aerospace is a space and defense technology company that enables government and commercial customers to launch, land, and operate in space – anywhere, anytime. As the partner of choice for critical space missions, Firefly is the only commercial company to launch a satellite to orbit with 24-hour notice and the only company to achieve a successful Moon landing. Our small- to medium-lift launch vehicles, lunar landers, and orbital vehicles are built with common flight-proven technologies to enable speed, reliability, and cost efficiencies for each mission across cislunar space and beyond.

Congratulations to our one and only Ms. Rocket Heels! We're ecstatic to promote Trina Patterson to Chief Marketing Officer after more than 3 years as our Vice President of Marketing and Communications. As a 25-year industry veteran, Trina’s experience has been instrumental in amplifying Firefly's most defining moments—from 24-hour rocket campaigns to our historic landing on the Moon and a record-breaking IPO. Trina's passion for her fellow Fireflies, strategic vision, and unwavering dedication have helped tell our story to the world. Thank you for your leadership as we continue to Light the Way to a bold future!

Firefly Aerospace is headed to the far side of the Moon, aiming to prove it can be much more than simply a launch company. CEO Jason Kim says the core opportunity is monetizing lunar data, selling insights to NASA and commercial customers that could help identify mineral resources and determine where future moon bases should be built. But the Moon is just the starting point. Firefly wants to control the entire space vertical: • Building NVIDIA powered AI satellites • Moving into space-based data centers • Completing its medium-sized rocket, Eclipse FULL Spotify: https://lnkd.in/edTpzpnS FULL Youtube: https://lnkd.in/ezhWKskp FULL Apple Podcast: https://lnkd.in/eATWuJKk

Firefly Aerospace continues to expand our reach across the globe with our "launch as a franchise" model. I had the pleasure of chatting with Reuters Events: Aerospace & Defense on how this model is a win, win, win for our nation, our allies, and our customers.
What if access to space was as easy as access to a local airport? Firefly Aerospace is making that idea more real through its 'Launch-as-a-Service' model. CEO Jason Kim discussed how partnerships with SSC Space are creating a win-win-win for Firefly, their allies, and the global strategic landscape. By shipping the Alpha vehicle to locations like Esrange in Sweden, Firefly is helping nations bypass the need for indigenous launch infrastructure while strengthening collective orbital capabilities Watch the full Q&A with Jason Kim here: https://lnkd.in/eY9nu__a

Moving on up! With Alpha Flight 8 in the integration and test phase, we're hitting stride on our Automated Fiber Placement machine and building four carbon composite barrels at once for multiple flights. These automated manufacturing processes allow us to enhance quality and reliability across the vehicle as part of our Alpha Block II upgrade.
