Featureform makes it easy for developers to deliver the right data, at the right time, for ML and AI. Acquired by Redis.

About us

Featureform makes it easier for developers to deliver the right data, at the right time, for the next generation of intelligent systems. Our open-source products, Featureform and EnrichMCP, give teams the tools to build and serve structured data for machine learning and unlock that same data for AI agents through a semantic layer.

Featureform is now part of Redis! Together, we’re building the context engine for AI which enables developers to deliver the right data, at the right time, to power the next generation of intelligent systems. We’re uniting our framework for connecting models and agents to your data with the world’s leading real-time data platform. Redis has been our closest partner from day one, providing the low-latency delivery, semantic caching, and vector search that powered Featureform. This partnership is natural, we’ve been building towards the same vision. To the Featureform team, thank you. You’ve built something incredible through hard work, late nights, and pure persistence. As we trade pink jerseys for red ones, the same grit, curiosity, and drive will lead us to continued success. To our investors and board, Gautam Krishnamurthi at GreatPoint Ventures, Jocelyn Goldfein at Zetta Venture Partners, James Alcorn, and Sam Ramji, thank you for believing in us and guiding us through the twists and turns. To our customers and users, thank you for trusting us and pushing us forward. Under Redis, we’ll keep building Featureform, faster and stronger. To the Redis team, Manvinder Singh, Benjamin Renaud, Rowan Trollope, and Benoit Dion, thank you for the vision and for welcoming us in. This is going to be fun! As I look back over the years, what sticks with me the most isn’t the launches or milestones, it’s all of the people who made them possible. I’ve learned so much about leadership, patience, and myself. I'm grateful for everyone who's been part of the journey. It’s been an incredible ride so far, and I'm excited for the next chapter.

  • It’s official, Featureform is joining Redis. We couldn’t be more excited about this next chapter.

Big big news for AI/ML teams! Redis has acquired Featureform, creators of the popular open-source and iceberg-native feature store platform. Redis + Featureform together now provide the industrys only end-to-end platform that includes both a feature store and online store, with a strong grounding in open-source and Apache Iceberg. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gUgti3nv Congratulations Simba Khadder and team on building an amazing product and company. Welcome to the Redis family and look forward to working with you! MLOps community's AI Agents Summit was a blast! Speaking there and showing off what Featureform is building with EnrichMCP reminded me why I love this space so much. The conversation has completely shifted. It's all about context engineering. How do you get your agents the right data, at the right time, in the right format? Single-pass RAG just doesn't cut it when you need agents that can actually navigate complex data landscapes. Teams are realizing they need something more sophisticated; agents that can dynamically pull from multiple sources, reason about what data they need next, and build context iteratively. That's exactly what EnrichMCP does. It's a context engineering framework that lets you connect agents to real data infrastructure. Not just documents in a vector database, but live APIs, databases, file systems: the stuff that actually runs your business. Great catching up with Demetrios Brinkmann Rahul Parundekar Harish Maiya Simon Tiu Marie Owens Yoni Michael Kostas Pardalis Joséphine Parquet  Michelle Yi Vasilije Markovic Eric Peter and meeting so many new folks who are tackling the same problems we obsess over. The future is agents that know how to find and use the data they need. We're just getting started!

Last night’s Summit proved just how fast the MCP community is growing: 100+ builders and investors packed the venue, standing-room only, and the best part was chatting with EnrichMCP users about their incredible projects. 🧑🏫 We went deep on enterprise-grade MCP tooling, browser-powered agent workflows, knowledge-graph memory, open-source deployment pipelines for MCP agents, and capped it with a VC panel on where agent-infrastructure is headed next. 🙏 Thank you to everyone who joined us, and shout out to our awesome speakers: Hans Ashlock of Cisco ThousandEyes, Elizabeth (Lizzie) Siegle of Cloudflare, Daniel Chalef of Zep AI (YC W24), and Pietro Zullo and Luigi Pederzani of mcp-use (YC S25). Also, huge thanks to our VC panelists Rajko Radovanović of Andreessen Horowitz, Akriti Dokania of Ridge Ventures, and James Alcorn of Lightspeed. 🤝 Last but not least, we’d like to extend a special thank you to Mackenzie, Chadd Turner, and Silicon Valley Bank for offering us their space and hospitality. It was great to partner with you guys! And of course, Marie Owens did a great job organizing, as per usual. See you at the next one.

🧑🏫 Learn how EnrichMCP can transform your data models into typed, discoverable tools - like an ORM for AI. Join our founder, Simba Khadder, on Tuesday, July 1st, at 8 AM PT for our latest webinar, "Connecting Agents to Your Data with EnrichMCP!" ✨Highlights of our upcoming webinar include: 🔹Connect EnrichMCP to a live database, run real agent queries, and walk through how it builds a semantic interface over your data 🔹Cover relationship navigation (like user → orders → products) 🔹Show how input and output are validated with Pydantic 🔹Explain how to extend the server with custom logic or non-SQL sources 🔹Discuss performance, security, and how to bring this pattern into production We'll have a Q&A at the end, and all code shown will be shared. RSVP to the webinar here ➡️ https://buff.ly/ljtVTta

This week has been surreal. Right on the heels of our first MCP hackathon, we shared EnrichMCP on Hacker News. It sat at the top of the front page all day. Dozens of reach outs. Hundreds of stars. Real teams already integrating it. Agents aren’t limited by intelligence. They’re limited by access. EnrichMCP is the key. It’s a Python framework that turns your internal data models into a semantic API for agents. Built on top of MCP, it works like an ORM for AI. You define your models like you would with SQLAlchemy, and EnrichMCP exposes them as structured, typed, callable tools. What we actually need are new ways to define data APIs built for agents, not humans. EnrichMCP is that layer. It turns your internal models into a semantic interface agents can understand, navigate, and call safely. Every company building agents will need something like this. The fact that so many people instantly got it makes us even more confident. Huge thanks to everyone who gave feedback, asked hard questions, or just tried it out. We’re just getting started. Repo link in the comments!
