I had the pleasure of working with Simon since 2011. From WorldSkills London through to competitions across the world, he was a constant, generous presence. Whether it was an interview for FE Week or lunch at his club, I always enjoyed our conversations. Simon was a titan of the global skills system. Few people have done more to champion vocational excellence globally. His legacy will endure for generations. My deepest condolences to his wife Christine, his sons James, Philip and Joe & his grandson Oscar. FE Week has published a full tribute, with some reflections from across the global WorldSkills community: https://lnkd.in/epkyUwwB
