  • We are pleased to share that Everfield has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Rhebo OT & IIoT Security, marking a further investment in OT security. Completion of the transaction remains subject to customary regulatory approvals and other standard closing conditions. Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Leipzig, Rhebo provides intrusion detection and anomaly monitoring for industrial (OT) networks and IIoT environments. Its technology helps critical infrastructure operators and industrial businesses identify cyber threats without disrupting ongoing operations. Rhebo is ISO 27001 certified and a holder of the «Cybersecurity Made In Europe» label. Rhebo has been part of the Swiss-listed Landis+Gyr Group since 2021. The transaction follows a strategic realignment of the parent company. Rhebo's headquarters, development, and technology will remain in Leipzig. The management team, led by Gerald Müller, former COO and CEO of Rhebo since 2026, will stay in place, backed by Everfield's team in the DACH region. "In Everfield, we have found a partner whose ecosystem and expertise will provide us with optimal support for our continued growth," said Gerald Müller. "The investment focus on European B2B software companies is also a clear commitment and a strong opportunity for us to advance European digital sovereignty."     Everfield welcomes Amero, a Danish software leader in specialty retail.  Amero offers a modular POS platform used by retailers, second-hand stores, and entertainment operators across Denmark. It combines point-of-sale, back-office, and inventory management in one system, with over 35 integrations and vertical-specific modules including online ticketing. The platform is designed to work seamlessly across in-store hardware, such as fixed terminals, mobile devices, tablets, and self-service kiosks. Jakob Højland, CEO of Amero, will continue to lead the company following the acquisition. Commenting on the transaction, Jakob said: “For Kasper, Jacob and myself, it has been important to find the right partner for Amero's next phase. With Everfield, we get a long-term owner who understands our business and allows us to continue developing Amero while staying true to our culture and values. That puts us in a strong position to build and grow the company going forward.” “Amero is one of the preferred software providers for specialty retail businesses in Denmark. We are excited to back the team and provide the support and resources they need to scale further,” said Lorenz Fuglsang, Country Manager (Nordics) at Everfield.     My first time at INTERNORGA in Hamburg – and it did not disappoint. There’s something special about seeing the hospitality and software world come together: the energy, the conversations, and the sheer pace of innovation across the industry. What made it even better? Catching up with some of our Everfield group companies on the ground – KOST Software GmbH, helloTESS! necta and Matrix POS GmbH 🙌 Seeing their booths, their branding, and their product stories live and in action was a strong reminder of how well these businesses are positioned. The consistency and quality of their brand presence really stood out across the fair 👏 But what truly defines INTERNORGA are the people and it was great to reconnect with so many familiar faces from our sales teams (Dr. Christian Haider, Maike Böhringer, Hubert Domscheit, Klaus Wengenmayer, Manuel P., René Tümmel, Sascha Beyer, Michael Haas, David Shakory, René Isensee and many more...)– fully in their element, engaging with potential customers, building relationships, and presenting their solutions to them. 💬✨ A personal highlight for me: being part of the launch event of necta One.   • The fastest way to understand what AI can do for your company is to watch another team use it. That was the idea behind last week’s AI Roadshow in Munich, hosted by Everfield’s AI Lead, Luis Pérez. Teams from across our DACH group came together to share how AI is already changing product development inside their companies. The agenda focused on a few important areas right now: • The AI R&D maturity path for software companies • Using coding agents in development teams (and where to start) • Turning product specs into working code The highlight for many was the live demos. Christoph Becker (VSX - VOGEL SOFTWARE GmbH) and Kilian Hann (helloTESS!) opened up their setups, showing how development workflows can run significantly faster. One piece of feedback captured the mood in the room well: "It was an eye opener how far we can already go." Thank you to Luis for leading the session, to Christoph and Kilian for sharing their experiences, and to everyone who joined for the productive discussions. We look forward to continuing sessions like this across the group in 2026.
