Guidance in VET — from dialogue to publication. 💬 📚 By the end of last year, Euroguidance Croatia published the "Compendium of Articles from the Euroguidance Cross-Border Seminar", bringing together key insights from CBS 2025 held in Zagreb (3–5 June). Focused on Guidance in Vocational Education and Training, the publication features highlights from panel, plenaries and 16 workshops – from STEM and labour market connections to personalised guidance, interactive tools and soft skills development. Between information overload and decisions about the future: Supporting parents in their key role in career guidance – European experts meet in Germany   On 6 - 7 February 2026, Euroguidance Germany welcomed guidance professionals from Austria and Luxembourg to Bremen for a job-shadowing activity organised together with EURES Germany.   The focus: Parental involvement in career guidance.   Participants explored two innovative formats at the Career Information Centre (BIZ) Bremen – the “Parents’ Day” and “Parents’ Lounge”. These events support parents in becoming confident partners in their children’s career choices by combining information sessions, short presentations, individual counselling and direct exchange with education and labour-market stakeholders.   Around 1,200 visitors attended the events in this year, many together with their children. European guests also contributed by presenting study and training opportunities in their countries and engaging directly with families.   The cooperation between EURES and Euroguidance proved to be particularly valuable. The shared language in the German-speaking region enabled deep professional exchange, peer learning and transfer of best practices across borders.   A strong example of how European cooperation improves guidance services – and ultimately supports young people in making informed career decisions. #Euroguidance #CareerGuidance #EURESjobs #Mobility #LifelongGuidance

🌍 Sustaining Guidance within the Union of Skills How can career guidance support a more skilled, resilient, and sustainable Europe? This question was at the heart of the Euroguidance European Conference, which brought together guidance professionals, policymakers, researchers, and practitioners from across Europe.
