  • 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝘂𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 Jamie Holcombe 𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿! Jamie spent more than 30 years leading federal technology and cybersecurity missions, most notably as CIO of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, where he drove large-scale cloud and AI modernization across one of the government's most complex enterprises. Now he's bringing that experience to Electrosoft. As Dr. Sarbari Gupta, our CEO, says: "We couldn't be more pleased to welcome Jamie to Electrosoft at this pivotal moment." And Jamie arrives with a mindset we think says everything: "You shouldn't ask to be trusted — you should build systems like they never will be." That's exactly the standard we're holding ourselves to, as well. Welcome to the team of like-minded practitioners, Jamie! • “It's not enough to know about a vulnerability. You must understand how it applies to your specific infrastructure and applications.” Our latest blog breaks down how proactive NVD and CVE analysis helps security teams move from reactive response to informed, strategic defense — before attackers find the gaps first. Electrosoft’s Task Order Program Manager, Kirk Lurie, authored the blog, “Proactive Vulnerability Management: Why NVD and CVE Analysis Can't Wait.” Key takeaway: Proactive analysis allows security teams to understand what vulnerabilities exist in their deployed systems, how they could be exploited, and ultimately, to prioritize mitigation efforts before attackers capitalize on them. 𝗧𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘆-𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗴𝗼, 𝘄𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗮 𝗯𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱. In 2001, our CEO, Dr. Sarbari Gupta, founded Electrosoft with a simple belief: federal agencies deserved a cybersecurity partner that would grow with them through every shift in technology and every evolution in the threat environment. Today, we're proud to mark 25 years of doing exactly that. As Dr. Gupta puts it: "Twenty-five years in … what fills me with the most pride isn't the milestone itself, but the trust we've built and the team that earned it." From our first prime contract at NIST in 2001 to supporting some of the federal government's most consequential cybersecurity and digital engineering missions today, we're just getting started. As digital identity guidance continues to evolve, we’re proud that multiple leaders from our team have helped shape foundational NIST publications, including authorship contributions to NIST SP 800-63-4, Digital Identity Guidelines. These Guidelines help agencies advance secure, scalable, and user-centered identity strategies. From identity governance and PIV/PKI enablement to FIDO-based passwordless authentication, federation, and access analytics, our ICAM team remains focused on the same customer priorities: trusted access, stronger decisions, and mission resilience by design. https://buff.ly/dYlXJeT #IdentityManagementDay #ZeroTrust #DigitalIdentity

  • A recent FedScoop article reinforces what many federal leaders are already seeing firsthand: AI creates the most value when it improves how mission work gets done. Redesigned workflows can reduce manual burden, accelerate analysis, and give skilled personnel stronger decision support — all while keeping humans firmly in control. We’re seeing the same results with our federal customers. But AI itself is not the solution. Successful adoption must be deliberate, secure, and aligned with existing mission systems. When deployed with strong governance and controls, intelligent automation becomes a true force multiplier for the workforce. As agencies modernize under tighter budgets and rising mission demands, the most secure and effective organizations will be those that embed AI directly in enterprise and operational workflows — with security and control by design.
