The hardest part of building a report has always been the back-and-forth, you draft something. Run it. Tweak a filter. Run it again. Swap the chart type. Run it again. Repeat until it finally looks right. We wanted to collapse that whole loop — so in this release of Dotnet Report, we did exactly that! Describe the report you want in plain English. Watch it build itself. That's the new "AI Assistant", paired with Live Preview so you see the output update in real time as you refine fields, filters, and visualizations. "Show me a sales summary by month, top 10 products." That's the whole workflow now. A few things we packed into this release: 🤖 AI Assistant with Live Preview — natural-language report design, quick actions for common patterns (sales summaries, invoice reports, trend analysis, KPI widgets), and intelligent suggestions tuned to your schema 📊 ECharts — we moved off Google Charts. Richer visuals, smoother tooltips, new chart types including radar charts for multi-dimensional comparison 🎯 Visual UX Tips — built-in guidance on which chart fits which data, so reports look sharper without the guesswork 🧩 Sub-Reports — more control over nested, complex reports with better design-time tooling 🔗 Custom Joins — override join types and order per report for precise, performant queries We walked through every feature live in a 20-minute webinar. No slide marathons, just the product doing the work. Watch the full webinar: https://lnkd.in/gNJ9f2Db #DotnetReport #BusinessIntelligence #ReportingTools #AI #DataVisualization

Multi-tenant reporting in ASP.NET Core is one of the most underestimated challenges in SaaS development. You don't just need reports. You need reports where every tenant only sees their own data — enforced at the query level, not just the UI. And you need users to be able to build their own. We published a complete guide covering everything: ✅ Shared-schema vs separate-schema vs separate-database patterns ✅ EF Core Global Query Filters for tenant isolation ✅ API-level enforcement (the most secure approach) ✅ Row-level security + column-level access control ✅ Step-by-step Dotnet Report integration with real .NET code ✅ Performance: indexing, pagination, and caching for multi-tenant workloads Read the full guide → https://lnkd.in/geEBmAXH #dotnet #ASPNETCore #SaaS #MultiTenant #EmbeddedReporting #dotnetdeveloper #reporting

Still using ActiveReports in your .NET SaaS app? You might be creating more work for yourself than you realize. ActiveReports is great for pixel-perfect print layouts — but if your customers need to run, filter, or customize their own reports, it falls short. Every new report request lands in your backlog. We broke down exactly why .NET SaaS teams are moving on, and what to look for instead: ✅ User self-service — customers build their own reports ✅ Multi-tenant data isolation built-in (no more per-report filtering) ✅ Fixed pricing that scales with your SaaS ✅ Full Blazor + ASP.NET Core compatibility ✅ Step-by-step migration guide included Read the full guide → https://lnkd.in/gqtEtbgz #dotnet #ASPNETCore #SaaS #EmbeddedReporting #ActiveReports #dotnetdeveloper #reporting

Building a Blazor app and tired of writing custom reporting code for every new request? We just published a complete guide to adding a drag-and-drop report builder to your Blazor Server or WebAssembly app — with real code samples, not just theory. What's covered: ✅ Why Blazor reporting is trickier than ASP.NET MVC (and how to solve it) ✅ Top 5 Blazor reporting tools compared ✅ Step-by-step Dotnet Report + Blazor integration guide ✅ Tenant-isolated reporting for multi-tenant SaaS apps ✅ Blazor Server vs. Blazor WASM — what changes for reporting Stop writing custom reports for every customer request. Let your users build their own. Read the full guide → https://lnkd.in/gGjnDcqa #Blazor #dotnet #ASPNETCore #SaaS #EmbeddedReporting #BlazorServer #dotnetdeveloper

🚨 Crystal Reports for .NET is end of life in 2026 — are you ready to migrate? SAP discontinued the 32-bit Crystal Reports .NET runtime in December 2025, and Crystal Reports 2020 mainstream support ends this year. If your ASP.NET app still relies on Crystal Reports, now is the time to move. We put together a full guide covering: ✅ Why Crystal Reports no longer works with .NET 6/8 or Blazor ✅ What to look for in a modern replacement ✅ Side-by-side comparison of the top alternatives (Telerik, SSRS, FastReport, Power BI Embedded, and more) ✅ How to migrate in days — not months Dotnet Report is built specifically for .NET SaaS products. It gives your users a self-service drag-and-drop report builder — so they can create their own reports without filing a ticket with your dev team. 👇 Read the full guide: https://lnkd.in/gPD7bJET #dotnet #aspnetcore #reporting #crystalreports #embeddedbireporting #saas #softwaredevelopment
