I got an SDR call yesterday. It was… rough. Rep: “Hi Omer, it’s ____ from ______.” Me: “Okay?” Rep: “We’re a ______ platform for ______. We do XYZ. Do you use a platform like this?” Me: “Umm, No” Rep (pushing to CTA): “Are you open to a quick 20-minute demo to see the platform?” Here’s the problem: ✗ No discovery phase ✗ Jumping straight to the CTA ✗ Assuming a fit before confirming it Pushing your product won’t win deals.
