For marketers, careful management of IPv6 infrastructure can improve deliverability and reduce the risk of reputation bleed across shared IPs.

However, its reputation signals are sparse, and spam filters have limited historical data to evaluate your sending behavior. This can make inbox placement less predictable. The takeaway: For now, IPv4 remains the safer choice for consistent email marketing performance, while IPv6 adoption should be approached carefully, with proper warm-up and monitoring strategies.
