With a working plan now in place, manufacturers can see when new requirements are expected to take effect. However, the key shift is not timing. It is how products will need to be declared. The move from Declaration of Performance (DoP) to Declaration of Performance and Conformity (DoPC) reflects a broader change: Performance is no longer enough on its own. Conformity and sustainability are becoming part of the regulated product documentation – and, in many cases, subject to verification. For manufacturers, this means that existing documentation and processes may need to be revisited well before deadlines are reached. 🚨 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 – 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐟! DBI’s new Fire Detection Test Lab is now ISO 17025 accredited and provides accredited testing of fire detection systems in accordance with selected EN 54 standards. “We can test optical smoke detectors, heat detectors, fire panels, power supply equipment for fire panels, and manual call points. In other words, we test components for entire fire detection systems,” says Mathias Revall Delcomyn, operational manager of DBI’s Fire Detection Test Lab. The new laboratory is located on the same site as DBI’s subsidiary, DBI Certification A/S, who has certified products according to the EN 54 series for many years. This means that manufacturers can now access holistic testing and certification solutions, which will reduce waiting times and accelerate time-to-market. VE-godkendelsesordningen er nedlagt pr. 1. juli 2025. Udviklingen i markedet og i uddannelsessystemet har medført, at der ikke længere er behov for at opretholde VE-godkendelsesordningen. Det betyder, at kravet om at benytte en VE-godkendt virksomhed, når der ansøges om støttetilsagn til installation er udgået pr. 1. juli 2025. Nedlæggelsen af VE-godkendelsesordningen og justeringen af de relevante tilskudsbekendtgørelser betyder, at det siden 1. juli 2025 ikke længere er et krav at anvende en VE-godkendt virksomhed for at kunne modtage støttetilsagn fra de statslige tilskudspuljer. En virksomhed skal fortsat sørge for, at den del der vedrører et autorisationskrævende arbejde udføres af en virksomhed med rette autorisation og som fremgår i Sikkerhedsstyrelsens autorisationsregister. DBI Certification A/S er godkendt kontrolinstans under Sikkerhedsstyrelsen og hjælper fortsat kunder med efterprøvning af KLS for autorisationskrævede arbejder inden for El-installationer. 𝐁𝐲𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐤𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐮 𝐟å 𝐫ø𝐠𝐤𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐬𝐩𝐣æ𝐥𝐝 𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐭 𝐢 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤 DBI Certification A/S har opnået akkreditering til certificering af røgkontrolspjæld (EN 12101-8:2011). Dermed kan byggevareproducenter nu få certificeret røgkontrolspjæld i Danmark. Røgventilationsprodukter er omfattede af Byggevareforordningen (CPR) og er derfor underlagt krav om CE-mærkning, hvis produkterne skal markedsføres på det europæiske marked. Med den nye akkreditering kan DBI Certification således nu tilbyde alle producenter af røgkontrolspjæld den nødvendige certificering af de produkter, som ønskes markedsført med CE-mærkning på det europæiske marked. Samtidig har EU-kommissionen udpeget DBI Certification til ’Notified Body’ i Danmark inden for røgkontrolspjæld. Det betyder, at DBI Certification i de tilfælde, hvor en tredjepart er påkrævet, på vegne af EU skal vurdere, om de pågældende produkter er i overensstemmelse med den gældende lovgivning og kan markedsføres i EU.
