🎤 State of Identity Stockholm 2026 – Featured Speaker: Jacob Ideskog, Chief Technology Officer, Curity "IAM Was Built for Humans. AI Agents Didn't Get the Memo." AI agents are quickly becoming the most powerful new API clients. They don't just call APIs — they make decisions, chain actions, and operate continuously on behalf of users, employees, and businesses. This fundamentally changes the API security model: identity becomes dynamic, access becomes delegated, and authorization can no longer be treated as static. In this session, we explore how organizations can secure APIs for the agentic era, where both internal agents and unknown third-party agents may interact with sensitive services at machine speed. We'll walk through practical architecture patterns from API-first platforms that enable systems to distinguish agents from humans, enforce fine-grained intent-based authorization, and replace long-lived credentials with intelligent, short-lived tokens. By shifting from static permissions to zero standing privilege using intelligent tokens, organizations can dramatically reduce breach impact, improve auditability, and maintain control over delegated access — even when AI assistants evolve into persistent autonomous actors. Jacob Ideskog is an Identity Specialist and CTO at Curity, focusing on securing APIs and the web space. He has extensive experience designing and implementing OAuth and OpenID Connect solutions for both large enterprises and startups. 📍 Stockholm, Posthuset 📅 May 6, 2026 🎟️ Free to attend Registration link in the comments. #StateOfIdentity #APIsecurity #IAM #IdentitySecurity #AI #APIs #ZeroTrust #CyberSecurity #Curity #Haidion

Treating your customer-facing AI agents like users is risky. What matters isn’t giving them identities, it’s controlling what they can do and on whose behalf. In 2 days, we’ll show what that looks like in practice and how teams are getting it right. Join us for a live session on April 16: https://bit.ly/4tReAvf #AIAgents #AISecurity #AIAgentsSecurity
