  • Do you know the source of your training content? In a world where AI can generate courses in seconds, expertise still matters. Many companies offer a myriad of online training programs with detailed course descriptions but no mention of the expertise or research behind the learning content. We live in a world where AI can now generate and assemble course content and training materials in seconds - but unless that content is fully reviewed, researched, and validated by a human expert, the risk of delivering a course that includes inaccuracies, errors, gaps, and blindspots is very real. The most impactful training content is still created by real human subject matter experts like Corridor's. Our SMEs have decades of hands-on experience in their respective fields and our learners benefit from the informed perspectives and knowledge they have acquired during their extensive careers. Thanks to our long-term exclusive partnerships with these highly respected Canadian experts, Corridor delivers robust content that simply can’t be replicated through AI. Why trust training content with no visible roots or origin? • Monetary Penalty Underscores Importance of Privacy Compliance Last August, the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario (IPC) fined a doctor $5,000 and a private clinic $7,500 for the unauthorized use of patients’ hospital records. This was the first administrative monetary penalty (AMP) issued under Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) since they were introduced to the legislation in 2024. Healthcare organizations and individuals with privacy obligations under PHIPA can face AMPs of up to $50,000 for individuals and up to $500,000 for organizations for non-compliance with respect to privacy breaches. Corridor’s Privacy Awareness Online Training Programs are updated to reflect important legislative changes and updates like this one. If you have an active course subscription, you can access to the most up-to-date information on healthcare privacy legislation and best practices anytime during your one-year access period, even if you’ve already completed the course. 🔄 Need to renew or refresh your privacy training?
