Hiring Freelance Software Engineer! Company Description CodeBuddy is the fastest way to help you build quality software or have someone build it for you. For developers and technically promising individuals, CodeBuddy is an all-in-one tool for accelerating professional software from concept to launch.   Role Description This is a contract, remote role for a freelanced Software Engineer (CodeBuddy). Preference for individuals living in U.S. time zones. The Software Engineer (CodeBuddy) will develop reliable and efficient software solutions, engage in back-end web development, and manage programming tasks using object-oriented programming principles. Utilize AI coding assistants to develop software for clients. The role involves programming, problem-solving, and collaborating with a team of professionals to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions in line with client requirements. Qualifications Strong foundational knowledge of Computer Science principles Experience in Back-End Web Development and Software Development AI system knowledge preferred but not required 3 years of experience in C#, React, and Azure preferred Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Problem-solving skills and the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Familiarity with modern development tools and frameworks is a plus Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Passion for working with AI/LLMs. Desired Skills Experience in Azure, GitHub, Supabase is a strong plus. Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services. Excellent debugging and optimization skills. LLM training is a plus. Progressive web app or electron development is not required but is a plus.
