Hear now. And always

About us

Hear now. And always As the global leader in implantable hearing solutions, at Cochlear (ASX: COH) we are committed to our mission to help people hear and be heard. Our story started more than four decades ago when Professor Graeme Clark pioneered the world's first multi-channel cochlear implant and created an entirely new treatment for hearing loss. Since our formation in 1981, we continue Professor Clark’s work to help people with moderate to profound hearing loss experience a life full of hearing. We have provided more than 650,000 implantable devices. Each recipient helps form a global community of millions, through families, friends, colleagues, teachers and more. And they’re not just connected to their own community — each shares a link with each other and to Professor Clark’s childhood desire to help people hear. We aim to give people the best lifelong hearing experience and access to innovative future technologies. We understand the privilege of connecting people to a life lived with hearing. And we listen, respond and move with the times – to continue to bring hearing within reach of all those who need it. That's how we live our mission every day. Our global workforce of more than 4,000 people shares a collective determination to give more people the opportunity to enjoy a life of hearing. Cochlear’s global headquarters are on the campus of Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia with regional headquarters in Asia Pacific, Europe and the Americas. Through our offices in over 180 countries we help people of all ages to hear. Social Media Terms of Use http://bit.ly/2qRMEvY

. . . #AMCAOF #Audiologia #CuidadoAuditivo #ImplanteCoclear #HearNowandAlways #Cochlear #Cochlearlatinoamerica #EscucharAhoraySiempre #CochlearParaProfesionales #AcademiaCochlear #CochlearColombia #CochlearMexico #CochlearBrasil

1,000 Osia® System Surgeries in Australia - A Milestone in Hearing Innovation Australia has reached a defining moment in bone conduction hearing solutions: 1,000 Osia® System surgeries for patients seeking superior hearing outcomes. Pictured here is Assoc. Prof. Chris Que Hee and the theatre team at St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital, whose collective expertise has helped drive this achievement. We recognise and celebrate the hearing health professionals across Australia who have trusted the Osia System to transform lives. This milestone reflects growing clinical confidence in a system delivering measurably superior outcomes. Why the Osia System leads: Published evidence demonstrates that the Osia System's piezoelectric transducer technology delivers better speech understanding in noise, higher gain capacity, and improved sound quality compared to traditional bone conduction systems [1-3]. Experts value the surgical simplicity and flexibility that makes the system accessible across diverse candidacy profiles. Patients experience hearing performance and connectivity that enhances everyday life. The audiological expertise of Neurosensory, who will activate the 1,000th Osia System, along with many other Australian hearing partners, has also been instrumental in supporting this journey - ensuring patients receive high quality fitting and ongoing care that maximises the Osia System's clinical potential. To every ENT surgeon, audiologist, theatre professional, and hearing care partner who has championed Osia in Australia: thank you. Your commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centred outcomes is driving the future of hearing health. Here's to the next 1,000 Australians who will hear better because of your dedication. 1. Briggs R et al.
