  • 𝟲 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 International expansion doesn’t have to be complex, yet it often becomes exactly that. During the Webwinkel Vakdagen, 🌎 Niels Arts 🌍 and Emiel Wessels showed that the difference isn’t in working harder, but in how you set things up. Many webshops start by translating and expanding, only to run into issues once they scale. It often starts with translating instead of building the right structure, while that foundation determines whether you can scale. And new markets are still too often chosen based on gut feeling, instead of real insight into search behavior and competition. These are just two examples of decisions that have a big impact on your growth. Curious about the other steps? 👉 Read the article: https://lnkd.in/eU8abjuf

  • Our customer success manager and WordPress enthusiast Wendie Huis in 't Veld will do a presentation at WordCamp Europe in Krakow the 5th of june. "How not to fail when expanding globally". If you are a WordPress / WooCommerce enthusiast dealing with international organisations...this is interesting for you. https://lnkd.in/e38HN763

After years of organising WordCamp Europe, this year, I decided to try something new and apply as a speaker, and guess what? They actually said YES! I’m sooooo excited. Lately, I’ve been obsessively leveling up my "Internationalization" skills due to my new role at Clonable. I’m mashing that together with my years of WordPress experience to bring you: "How to Not Fail When Expanding Globally" It’s going to be part strategy, part "please learn from these mistakes," and 100% insightful for anyone looking to take over the world (the right way, without the "Lost in Translation" facepalms). If you’re attending #WCEU, come say hi, catch my session, and let’s talk. Catch the session details here: https://lnkd.in/efDiT4Vf The photo is taken by VisitBrabant Travel Trade where I had the pleasure of doing my first internationalisation presentation.

  • 🆕 𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀: 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 Want more control over your translations? With the glossary feature, you define how specific words should be translated across your website. This helps you keep translations consistent, reduces manual corrections and ensures your content stays aligned with your brand voice. You stay in control of key terms, product names and brand language, so translations match your tone of voice across every market. Depending on your subscription, you can add a set number of glossary rules. You can find the glossary in your dashboard via: 𝘋𝘢𝘴𝘩𝘣𝘰𝘢𝘳𝘥 > 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘴𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 > 𝘎𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘳𝘺. https://lnkd.in/e8DjD7RD

  • 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹? Expanding internationally often starts simple. You add a language, launch a new market and expect growth to follow. In reality, it quickly becomes more complex than expected. Content starts to diverge, translations fall behind and updates need to be made in multiple places. What once felt manageable turns into a process that takes more and more time and effort. During the Webwinkel Vakdagen, it became clear that this is not an exception. Many webshops run into this sooner or later. The issue usually isn’t execution, but the choices made upfront. How do you structure your setup? How do you handle local content and SEO? And how do you make sure you can scale without your operations becoming unmanageable? In this blog, we share where things go wrong and which decisions make the difference. 👉 Read the article: https://lnkd.in/ecScgfqx

𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗲𝗯𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆? 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗯𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗹 𝗩𝗮𝗸𝗱𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻 International expansion remains a hot topic in e-commerce. During the Webwinkel Vakdagen, we once again saw how many webshops struggle with the same challenge: growing across borders without it becoming complex and time-consuming. Our colleague 🌎 Niels Arts 🌍 gave a session together with Emiel Wessels from NFCW.NL to share how to approach international growth more intelligently. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀? Most webshops overcomplicate international expansion from the start. There’s a much faster way to launch in new markets, without rebuilding everything or doubling your workload. Curious what that looks like in practice? 👇 https://lnkd.in/eMJubwX8 #ecommerce #internationalgrowth #crossborder #webshops #digitalcommerce
