    😲Is it just me, or did last week’s “SaaSpocalypse” turn up the AI noise decibels or is it a signal enterprise leaders cannot ignore? I believe the massive market cap bloodletting we just witnessed wasn’t just a bad week for tech stocks, but a wake-up call for the "seat-based" pricing model. The enterprise world is starting to realize that when a single, well-orchestrated AI agent can do the work of ten software licenses, paying for seats is about as logical as paying for a telephone line by the minute. Wall Street is busy recalculating valuations, CIOs, CTOs, COOs and CEOs are dealing with a much bigger problem: the paralysis of choice and having the courage to make a move in an ever-changing landscape. Every day, a new “expert” pops up with a different opinion on which model you should be betting on. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, most enterprise leadership teams are still tethered to monolithic back-ends from the 90’s. Let’s be real if you don’t have orchestration in place to help unlock decades of back-end investments and a capable, secure front surface area to manifest outcomes for your customers, your AI strategy is just a all but a cute All Hands demo thet can’t actually do anything. A few takeaways from our recent enterprise roundtable: • We’re all tired of the "experts": When everyone has an opinion, but no one has a roadmap, companies default to “let’s wait and see”. That’s not a strategy; it’s just staying still while the ground moves. • The "70% Truth": Everyone wants 100% accuracy on day one. It doesn't exist. AI agents are hovering around 70% right now. The win isn't waiting for perfection but rather building the "human-in-the-loop" framework to manage the error margin safely while you scale. • Harvesting the SaaS budget: The real play right now is taking those bloated SaaS budgets and reallocating them toward agentic orchestration. So, how do we actually break the paralysis? The jump from monolith microservices to agentic is a transition from owning software to owning outcomes and isn't something you buy off a shelf. At Clickatell, we aren't interested in being another voice in the expert choir.
