This is how our Nordic team builds partnerships. No agenda. No meeting room. 21 km through Oslo with a partner from VG. The best partnerships are personal before they're transactional. Stian just proved it — at 5:21/km pace.
21 km. 1:53:03. Null PowerPoint-slides. Det var dagens møte i Oslo med Thomas Gulbrandsen fra VG. Jeg møtte en nøkkelpartner til det som egentlig skulle være et vanlig møte. Vi løp en halvmaraton gjennom byen i stedet. Forbi Festningen. Langs fjorden. Ut til øyene. Tilbake forbi Operaen. 5°C, overskyet, ingen agenda i sikte. Her er det jeg synes er interessant: Noen av de beste partnerskapsamtalene skjer når du fjerner møterommet. Ingen skjerm å gjemme seg bak. Ingen halvtimes tidsluke som tvinger deg til å følge en agenda. Bare to mennesker, side om side, som dekker terreng — bokstavelig talt og i overført betydning. 21 km gir deg tid til å snakke om det som faktisk betyr noe. Det som aldri kommer opp i et planlagt møte. Ikke alle møter trenger en halvmaraton. Men ethvert partnerskap fortjener mer enn en delt skjerm. Hvordan foretrekker du å møte forretningspartnerne dine?
