How would your organization benefit if you could truly and systematically trust your AI models? The first step is identifying exactly where trust breaks down. Current AI models often lack context. They are so capable at what they do that they can hide this gap from us—but when we look more closely, we sense that something is missing. That missing context makes AI harder to trust. Read our latest point of view to learn why world models and context could shape the next wave of AI development 👉 https://ow.ly/lTQF50Zi4Bq

Humans understand the world conceptually. We make sense of information through stories, conflicts, risks, and opportunities. When we learn something new, we connect it to the world models we already hold. For current AI models, data alone is only part of the solution. That gap helps explain many of the shortcomings we see today. Innovation only matters when it creates real impact. At the 10th edition of VivaTech we brought our motto “Reliable Innovation. Real Impact” to life. As technology transformation accelerates, the challenge is no longer to imagine what’s next — it’s to turn AI, data and emerging technologies into measurable outcomes, at speed and at scale. Throughout the event, our experts showed how organizations are already moving from ideas to real business value — through hundreds of client discussions, from strategic conversations to hands-on exploration of concrete use cases. On our booth, immersive demos made innovation tangible, connecting solutions to real-world challenges. The takeaway is clear: innovation is no longer abstract. It is tangible and already delivering. Thank you to our clients, partners and the wider ecosystem who joined us to explore how we make innovation real. #VivaTech #MakeItReal

Verkor set out in 2020 with a clear ambition: build low-carbon batteries in Europe, at scale. Moving from R&D to industrial production raised a harder question. A first-of-a-kind gigafactory had to be competitive from its very first cell, and no existing digital backbone could carry that complexity. That is where our partnership with Verkor began. Together, we designed the gigafactory's digital blueprint, aligned to operations and ready for the shop floor. Real-time monitoring and anomaly detection turned plant data into faster, performance-driven decisions. The first batteries have now been produced in Dunkirk. More than a milestone, this digital foundation gives Verkor greater control over quality, cost, and efficiency as it ramps up, along with a replicable model for the gigafactories that follow. 🎙️ This week’s reality: Resilience is no longer about bouncing back. It is about designing systems that can absorb shock before the shock arrives.   In this episode of #RealitiesRemixed, Dave, Esmee, and Rob sit down with Benjamin Trump at Society for Risk Analysis SRA and Cedrick Moriggi, Chief Resilience Officer and co-found the CCRO network under the the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) to explore what resilience means in a world shaped by systemic risk, fragile supply chains, climate shocks, cyber threats, and human decision-making.   Key reflections: ⚡ Hyper-efficiency has made systems faster, cheaper, and more fragile. 🌍 The biggest risks are no longer isolated. They move through connected systems. 🧠 Prediction is not enough when likelihood becomes impossible to calculate. 🕸️ Real resilience starts with knowing your weak points before disruption finds them.   One question sits at the heart of the conversation: how do we stop treating resilience as recovery and start building it into the system?   Listen now. The new resilience imperative for the CXOs: https://bit.ly/479BHIi

🎙️ This week’s reality: What if discovering a new drug became as simple as writing a prompt? In part 2 of our life sciences miniseries, Dave, Rob, and co-host Thorsten sit down with Dr. Alex Zhavoronkov, founder and CEO of Insilico Medicine, to explore how AI is reshaping drug discovery. Not by making the process slightly faster, but by fundamentally changing what’s possible.   Key reflections: 🧬 AI is moving drug discovery from search to design. ⚡ The bottleneck is no longer finding molecules. It’s proving they’re safe. 🚀 The future may not be finding the right drug, but generating it. ⏳ For the first time, technology is creating a realistic path to dramatically compressing the timeline from idea to treatment.   Listen now. If AI can design breakthrough medicines, what becomes the new constraint? https://bit.ly/479BHIi
