    The AI agent hype is real. But real deployment at scale is still rare. McKinsey found that 62% of companies have experimented with AI agents, yet fewer than 10% have deployed them in any business function. That gap exists for a reason. It is easy to build a flashy demo. It is much harder to build AI agents that actually work in messy, high-stakes, real-world environments. Healthcare makes that even harder. Workflows are complex. Systems are fragmented. The margin for error is low. Trust is everything. That is why I am especially proud that Bot MD was included in Tech in Asia’s landscape of 35 Southeast Asian startups building agentic AI, in the industry-specific agents category.
