    Meta reported 153 orders. Shopify only had 144. Here’s what went wrong. We recently worked with a brand that was struggling with inconsistent Meta performance. Not because their ads were bad, but because their tracking was broken. Their setup had multiple moving parts: - A 3rd-party checkout partner’s CAPI - Facebook’s Shopify App - A mix of web orders and draft orders in Shopify The result? Persistent attribution errors. In just the week before BooleanMaths went live: - Meta was over-reporting conversions by ~65% - Ads Manager showed 153 orders - Shopify actually had 144 real web orders ROAS looked great on paper, but the underlying data was bogus. So we rebuilt the tracking pipeline end-to-end: - Moved entirely to the BooleanMaths Pixel as the single source of tracking - Enriched user journeys by stitching cross-browser sessions - Used multi-channel attribution to identify conversions where Meta truly had an impact - Synced only those attributed conversions back to Meta in real time via CAPI No duplicate signals. No draft order pollution. No guesswork. The impact was immediate: - Meta over-reporting dropped from ~65% → ~11% - True ROAS improved by ~16% Once Meta started optimising on clean, verifiable data, performance followed. Sometimes it’s not your creatives that need work, it’s just your data flow.
